Lately it has been all over the news and social media that America has a labor shortage.  And the number one reason that is tossed around is that "people are too lazy to go back to work" after Covid.  "People just want to live off of the government."  That's what they say. But Jodi thinks it's actually something totally different.  Something that nobody is talking about.  Jodi has a theory... that theory may surprise you.

The country has been glued to their screens; obsessed with the story of Gabby Petito, the young woman who had been traveling the country in a van with her fiance.  First, reported missing then found dead. and her death is being called a homicide. Why are we obsessed?  Is it because we can see this young girl's life on social media and it looked picture perfect?  What does our obsession with having access to people we don't even know, via social media do to us as a society.  Jodi takes a look at the case and why we are so into it.

It is true! We are the most cruel to ourselves! How we talk to ourselves matters. We say things to ourselves that we would never say to a friend or relative. How we view and compare what is happening in other people's lives matters too.  Jodi shares some personal stories from her life and a clip from the Drew Barrymore show that drive these points home.
