On Feb. 14, 2025 I got a call from a local (Democrat) reporter who was very excited to inform me that the Democrat prosecutor in a neighboring county had been assigned as a special prosecutor by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and has filed felony charges against me.
I have been charged with allegedly swearing falsely on my candidate filing affidavit when I filed to run for Lapeer County Commissioner. It is a felony charge with up to 5 years in prison.
I believe I was completely honest in my filing and I do live full time at the address I filed at in my district.
The timing of the filing of charges is interesting, as it came just three weeks after I defended Christian counseling to help minors find their identity in Christ instead of in sex during a debate about pornographic materials in the children's section of the public library. Video of my statements were widely shared in Democrat circles in Michigan, as they claimed I was using my elected position to try to force Christianity on children. Of course, I would never force any belief on anyone, but it is deeply unsettling to be facing a prison sentence over what I believe to be a political prosecution.
As an investigative journalist, I have reported on powerful individuals on the right and the left, and their connections to what I have come to believe is a military intelligence operation against American citizens. Indeed, General Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and many others celebrated these charges against me on X, just hours after it was published in our tiny local paper that most in my county don’t even read.
Flynn himself strongly implied that this was done to me because I have exercised my First Amendment rights in criticizing him, calling the charges justice and karma for my work in exposing him. He also called me a horse’s ass.
Ann Vandersteel called me a Brennan Troll:
Lara “Boobs” Logan called me a liar:
Patrick Byrne gave me a shout out from Dubai:
But my favorite was Roger Stone, who said that 5 years in prison would not be enough for this piece of human garbage:
I have also earned enemies locally, as these charges came just after I defended children’s rights to find their identity in Christ instead of in sex at a county commission meeting.
I don’t know who is behind the criminal complaint but my work both as a commissioner and a journalist has clearly ruffled some feathers.
This is very serious though. I have three children, age 6, 10 and 12, who need me. I am my mother's primary caregiver. I believe I am serving my constituents faithfully. And I also believe my investigative journalism is unique and important.
I will fight this lawfare for their sake and for the sake of my constituents.
I believe the intention behind this is to bankrupt and silence me, and I pray it does not work. I need your help to fight this. I have retained the very best criminal defense attorney in this region of Michigan. 100% of what you give will go towards my legal expenses.I thank you and my family thanks you.

Today I open and close with a review of this piece in Fortune about Kash Patel’s consulting gig that netted him $1-5M worth of stock in a CCP-owned company in 2024, even while he was paid $544,000 by the Trump campaign in consulting fees.
It appears this may cause delays in Kash’s confirmation. The more I think about that business dealing, the more concerned I am about it. What value could Kash have offered to this CCP-owned business on a part time basis that would have netted him that much value? Did Kash travel to China for this deal? His unwillingness to divests suggests he is, in fact, compromised.
Here is the article, I strongly suggest reading it for yourself.
We need to know more.
After discussing this August 2014 clip of Flynn praising the FBI and Clapper for developing a “domestic intelligence landscape at the federal, state, local and tribal levels,” I ask what is that domestic intelligence landscape designed to do? Did Flynn himself have a hand in developing it?
(video h/t Kathleen Beyer)
I then provide a broad summary of Flynn’s involvement in the Russian Collusion hoax that earned him the FBI Codename of Crossfire Razor, as illustrated in this graphic:
With the knowledge of Flynn’s connections to every aspect of the Russiagate story, why did Kash fail to mention any of them, and instead devote six pages to gaslighting readers into believing Flynn is a victim hero?
I hope that Kash has evolved in his thinking about this and would declassify all documents relating to Flynn’s role in each of these events. It is my opinion that stating so to the Senate would probably improve his chances of confirmation. But maybe it would risk Grassley and Graham, who might have something to hide in their knowledge of the investigation early on.
Indeed, Trump tweeted about this in May 2019, wishing he had been told about Flynn’s ties to Russia and activities during his campaign so he could have gotten rid of him:
Some big questions arise after looking at all this and discussing it further with some of you.
First, why was Flynn not prosecuted with Alptekin and Kian for his involvement in FARA violations with them? Flynn was more of a direct principle to the arrangement as the only party to receive significant financial gain. And he was the most culpable, as a 33 year veteran of military intelligence he couldn’t possibly claim ignorance of the law.
Next, why did none of the media on the right ever talk about Peter W. Smith, who died of suicide 10 days after telling Shane Harris of the Wall Street Journal that he was working with General Flynn’s Russian contacts to buy Hillary Clinton’s emails from Russian hackers?
This is an enormous story. Why did the FBI not use that story as the predicate for their FISA warrant and get the FISA warrant on Flynn instead of Carter Page? It was a much more viable predicate than Carter Page. While I dislike Rachel Maddow, this piece on the issue is actually pretty good, and sheds light on an additional, and very important, detail: Flynn met with Smith prior to his December 2015 trip to Moscow, where he was paid by the Russian government to have dinner with Putin.
Joseph Mifsud was also at that dinner. Mifsud was the subject of part one of this series. Was Flynn’s friend since 2013, Ambassador Kislyak, also at that dinner?
The point of all of this is that Flynn was at the center of Russiagate. Russiagate would never have happened if not for Flynn. Flynn knew he was under investigation and that he was creating massive conflicts of interests that would create problems for Trump but he never informed Trump about any of it. He didn’t even tell Trump that he was under investigation by the FBI, even though he was informed by the FBI at least as early as November 2016 (possibly much earlier?), until January 2017 - after Trump had appointed him to be National Security Advisor.
But it was all swept under the rug and covered up. As of when Kash published Government Gangsters in 2023, Kash was helping to cover it up. He knew everything I’ve shared here and so much more, but he covered it up.
Why?
NOTE ABOUT THE SERIES: This series, The Plots Against The President, will continue to dive deep into the intelligence operations against Trump and MAGA with twice weekly episodes - one free to all and one for paid subscribers. In last week’s paid episode I provided a broad overview, the 30K foot view of this series.
To access all of my work and support my continued research, subscribe today!
My mission is to expose the psychological warfare against President Trump and MAGA by the deep state. I’ve been documenting, including in real time over the past year, many specific examples of how that has occurred - and it is ongoing.
I’ve come to understand the operations against Trump as a series of plots designed to harm him politically, cause him to lose, remove him politically, put him in prison, and even to kill him.
While many of these plots have been covered in depth, I’m choosing to focus my attention on what has been deliberately left out, under-emphasized or completely distorted in the record that has been designed for our consumption and collective understanding.
As I explore these plots, I plan to draw out connections between key players and seek to understand and weave together the common threads - the people whose repeated involvement and fruits show them to be key players working against President Trump and MAGA.
Today I start with the two players who were at the very beginning of the Russiagate plot against Trump - General Flynn and Joseph Mifsud. We look at the event where it really started, a Russia Today speaking gig for Flynn in Moscow where he dined with Putin two months before joining Trump’s campaign.
The connections are much deeper than that, as I outline in this illustration and dive much deeper into in today’s show.
If this is valuable to you, please help me continue this work with your paid subscription! I’ll be doing another live show tomorrow for my paid subscribers.
Today I had a wide-ranging conversation with Scott Greenlee. I asked him about his experience as a political consultant, how exactly he would go about raising funds for the party (he says we will need $30-40M), whether he would press charges against Karamo and her team if they find evidence of criminal wrongdoing, and his background and relationship with John Yob.
Scott took even the tough questions with poise and professionalism.
Some commentary on the other two candidates that I have not yet interviewed:
While I would be happy to interview Jim Runestad if he reaches out to me, his announcement of Bernadette Smith as his running mate proves he is not a serious candidate. Smith is a director for The America Project, has a long history with Mike Flynn and his network, and was a strong supporter of Kristina Karamo. Further, Runestad is a state senator, which is a full time job, and he claims he can do both jobs at the same time. Most delegates I’ve spoken with do not believe it would be remotely wise to have a part time MIGOP Chair in this 2026 cycle.
If he did come on, I would drill into whether he is working with Mike Labadie, and if the purpose of his run is to secure the Karamo supporters and Christian Nationalists within the party as a voting block that can be shifted to another candidate at the convention.
That candidate would be Meshawn Maddock, who I have been critical of on X for the language in the announcement she sent out of her endorsement by Turning Point Action, and her relationship with Patrick Lee.
Mindi Tietz has been interviewing the candidates in an excellent X thread. Over this last weekend, she posted this question, which was directed primarily towards Maddock.
Mindi was referencing this article, which shows that Patrick Lee has been sanctioned in Ohio and barred from fundraising for charities there for severely misappropriating funds raised to support the victims of the East Palestine train disaster. I have spoken to party operatives who have raised concerns about how Lee has used his position as a regional director of Trump Victory to build his consultancy business in the five states he oversaw, including Michigan.
Warren Carpenter claimed on X that Patrick Lee called Warren to tell him not to oppose Meshawn because Lee was supporting her and he claimed he was going to secure Trump’s endorsement. It does not appear that Trump will make an endorsement in this race, especially after Joe Cella announced his run, who is personal friends with Trump’s campaign managers, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles.
Meshawn herself responded to Mindi’s question with defensiveness that suggests that she is working with Lee, even as she claimed she has not “hired” Lee.
Stranger still, is Meshawn’s statement that all that matters to her is winning. That sentiment is reminiscent of Dick Cheney, who said, “Principle is okay up to a certain point, but principle doesn’t do any good if you lose.”
The pursuit of short term victories at any moral or ethical cost is exactly what most Americans hate about politics.
While I know Meshawn and Matt Maddock personally and like them, I am also concerned that she would have a repulsive effect on moderates and independents, whose support we need in order to take back Michigan in 2026.
A prime example:
All this said, I still hope that Meshawn will agree to come on. I’ll have a lot of questions for her, and if she does win I’ll do my best to support and work with her as we work to liberate Michigan from Democrat control in 2026.
As we prepare for county conventions tomorrow, we have a lot to pray about and contemplate.

Today I break down and elaborate on the following X post, in which I provide a summary of the various ops Flynn has run against Trump and MAGA over the last 9 years:
This is the same op Flynn has been running in different ways since Dec 2015, when he was paid $45k by the Russian govt to have dinner with Putin just a couple months before joining Trump's campaign.
The FBI's codename for Flynn in 2016 was Crossfire Razor. Flynn knew he was under FBI investigation and kept that information from Trump for at least several weeks until after he was already appointed National Security Advisor.
He has no problem with acting like a complete lunatic and even bending or breaking the law (with built in plausible deniability of course) as long as it can be made to implicate Trump.
Most of the accusations of Trump by the left are things that Flynn, Stone et al have done - and have been imputed to Trump. The crazed cult behavior, Christian Nationalism, violent rhetoric, demands for retribution, insane conspiracy theories - that's all Flynn Network staples designed to dirty Trump.
Here's an outline of the Flynn catch and kill operation:
1. He accepted $530K from Turkish government while working on Trump's 2016 campaign without informing Trump or registering as a foreign agent.
2. Was Flynn working with Mifsud, who tried to entrap @GeorgePapa19 George Papadopoulos with an offer to sell access to Clinton emails from Russian hackers? Sidney Powell said in a legal filing that Mifsud was at the Dec. 2015 Moscow event where Flynn dined with Putin. How could she know that unless Flynn knew? And how could Flynn know that unless he knew Mifsud at the time?
3. This effort documented in the video below to secure amnesty for himself while accusing Trump of directing Flynn to make contact with the Russians (didn't happen - Joy's joy obviously hasn't sustained).
4. A network of people close to Flynn systematically deceived Trump and MAGA with lies about machine fraud after 2020 election (it was the mail in ballots).
5. Flynn himself attempted to persuade Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act based on those claims, to direct the SecDef to confiscate the machines and ballots in 7 swing counties. Trump would have most likely been tried for treason when the military hand count confirmed the tabulator count.
6. Flynn and Stone ran the insurgent leadership over the groups that incited violence on J6.
7. Flynn and The America Project were behind the AZ audit that I believe was designed to fail.
8. Flynn and The America Project were driving forces (with Steve Bannon's help) in the Precinct Strategy to take over and destroy state GOPs, running far right candidates in 2022 who could not possibly win the general election.
9. Flynn and The America Project were behind the machine fraud psyop in 2022, which dramatically depressed GOP turnout because "it's all rigged so what's the point."
10. Flynn had enough control over state GOP delegations to take control over the national convention from the floor. I broke on June 4, 2024, that Shelby Busch led a training session on how to initiate a floor fight to take over the national convention on prime time TV and place a new candidate into nomination. My reporting was later confirmed by Trump's team and by WaPo.
11. Flynn's inner circle, including Roger Stone, was aggressively preparing for a contingency campaign for Flynn for President going back to 2021. I have heard this directly from multiple sources who were parties to the communication. I can't prove that Flynn had advance notice of what happened in Butler, PA. But nobody was talking about that happening more in advance or would have better benefited from it than Flynn.
12. Flynn rewarded Ivan Raiklin just days after his viral video with Zoe Chace with a director seat in his family 501c3, America's Future. In that video, Raiklin launched his Secretary of Retribution campaign, calling for citizens to take the law into their own hands and engage in livestreamed swatting raids of his deep state target list, which includes federal judges and even members of Trump's family and inner circle.
13. Flynn's entire network was encouraging citizen militia involvement in the event of a 2024 Trump loss, while encouraging that loss with continuous narratives of hopelessness,"it's all rigged so what's the point" and discouragement of early voting. This combination of events would have provided a Kamala admin with the justification to strip law abiding citizens of their firearms and resulted in the end of our Bill of Rights.
Flynn's fruit clearly shows he has been working against Trump and MAGA all along. It's no wonder he doesn't have a role in Trump's administration. Now that @Kash_Patel's confirmation hearings are about to start, we should really call our senators and ask them to ensure that Kash was not compromised by his time with Flynn on the ReAwaken Tour and will investigate Flynn (who Kash strongly defended in his book), Raiklin etc in addition to the rest of the deep state.
We need a commitment from Kash:
1. Identify and indict the pipe bomber.
2. Release and unredact all the Mifsud documents.
3. Investigate the J6 involvement of those who pled the 5th to the first J6 Committee, including Flynn, Roger Stone, Jason Sullivan and Robert Patrick Lewis.
A few days ago, Flynn posted this video in response to a flood of questions about whether he will have a job in Trump’s administration:
In short, Flynn won’t have a job and he claims that is a good thing as he plans to interfere in 2026 by promoting radical candidates for GOP losses as he did in 2022 and 2024.
I'll be documenting all of this and much more in a series of written reports for paid subscribers here on my Substack that will eventually be published as a book or series of books.
I held off on posting last Tuesday’s impromptu show, waiting for an update from Sandy about her pardon. When I recorded this show, just 24 hours after President Trump signed the executive order issuing pardons or commutations to all J6 defendants, Sandy had still not heard from her public defender or the court about whether she would need to report to prison as sentenced this coming January 30.
I heard from Sandy over the weekend that she has heard both from her attorney and from the FBI agent on her case that she has, in fact, been pardoned and does not need to report to prison.
Sandy’s story is important, as it provides a poignant illustration of how the crowds were systematically manipulated and even tracked.
One correction from the podcast. It was not “Purple Meathead” who filmed Sandy inside the Capitol on J6. It was Anthime “Tim” Gionet, AKA Baked Alaska, who went from BLM protestor and Buzzfeed contributor to actual white supremacist groyper who played a role in the infamous Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA that resulted in the “Very Fine People” hoax.
I’m sure there’s a bigger story there…
I asked Sandy to set up a GoFundMe for herself to help with her dental expenses. She was reluctant to do video because she is missing some of her front teeth resulting from some bad dental work she had done in the past. Any help you could provide her would be much appreciated! Follow this link to help Sandy.
Today at 3pm EST I’ll be going LIVE to discuss an overview of many of Flynn’s various operations over the past 8 years. See you on X, Facebook, Youtube or Rumble!
In this wide-ranging and candid interview, we dig into Ambassador Cella’s background, his business, his support of President Trump going back to June 2016, which led to Trump picking Cella to be his ambassador to Fiji, and his vision for the future of the party - including and beyond sweeping victories in 2026.
Cella shares his connections to the architects of President Trump’s incredible 2024 campaign, Chris LaCivita, Susie Wiles and Michael Whatley and his specific vision for continuing in the successes of Hoekstra’s leadership, bringing transparency and accountability to the party, launching a nationwide fundraising campaign to compete in our 2026 state races, and aid our candidates in running big tent campaigns to victory.
I don’t hold back from the hard questions about who is backing him and the consultants he is working with.
I’ve invited the other candidates to come on my show also.
So much has happened in the last three days since President Trump’s inauguration, and it’s still very worthwhile to reflect on his inauguration speech. In this episode, recorded a couple hours after the event, I broke down his speech with an eye to what he tells us to expect from his presidency.
On Saturday, 1/11, the Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) held their statutory meeting. Shelby was declared to win her race for 1st vice chair by acclimation, or default, when her opponent, Carrie Cox, was not allowed entrance into the event.
Another elected precinct committeeman (PC) who was removed without notice and after a secret trial in which false charges were brought but she was not allowed a defense - was today’s guest, Susan Wood.
Susan has done a great job documenting the insurgency within MCRC over the last year on her Rumble channel, which you can visit by clicking this link.
In today’s show, we cover the history of this insurgency in Arizona, examine its roots under Steve Daniels and Daniel McCarthy and their Patriot Party, and break down video coverage of this last statutory meeting.
The story of how this happened in Arizona is a warning for every other state GOP and, sadly, mirrors what has happened in many other states.
Today I examine three figures who all had important roles in the violence that occurred on January 6, 2021 and the resulting allegations against President Trump.
Those figures are Caroline Wren, who, I have argued, later became Kari Lake’s handler; Jason Sullivan, who had served as Roger Stone’s social media guru; and Ivan Raiklin, who just yesterday told CNN confidently that he was more responsible than anyone for the violence that occurred on that day.
If Raiklin was responsible that means General Flynn was responsible, as Raiklin was clearly working under Flynn even then.
The stories of each of their involvement in the events of that day are important to understanding the whole. WI explain how, without Wren, Trump would not have spoken publicly that day, making it very hard for the media to associate Trump with the violence that occurred. Had Trump not spoken publicly, the crowds would have been dispersed between the other 2-3 stages that were set up but not used in various places around the Capitol.
Without Sullivan, the machine fraud narratives would not have been nearly as effectively spread. Also, without Sullivan’s conference call on December 30, 2020, the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, First Amendment Praetorian and others would not have been as radicalized and primed to enter the Capitol.
And without Ivan, there would have been no Operation Pence Card, which Trump retweeted. Operation Pence Card was the “plan” Raiklin had cooked up to force the House of Representatives to hold a delegation vote to replace the official state election results. According to Raiklin’s own admission, without his involvement everybody who went there that day might not have gone.
I also break down in detail the most important highlights from Ivan’s 35 minute interview yesterday with CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan. It is deeply disturbing, as he explains his 12 month vision for engaging in “livestreamed swatting raids,” imprisonment and capital punishment of his “deep state target list” of 1400 individuals. The last draft of that list that I reviewed included Ben Carson and Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner.
It appears to me that Ivan’s intention in that interview was to incite lunatics on the left into another assassination attempt. Flynn sure liked it though:
