Very Helpful Book

This book is a very helpful book for understanding the Christ of the Resurrection. Jesus Christ rose from death and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father. His new body is the eschatological body. And Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. His death was to be atoning death that only God could die. Since God can't die, God took on human form to accomplish the sacrifice. This is some of the invaluable gem you will find in this book. If you haven't learn these things in your church -- your pastor's probably ignorant or worse yet a false teacher. Christ warns us about them in the last days.

Great Book!

I will fully endorse this book because it sticks to the truth of the Gospel unlike many so-called evangelical preachers at Dallas Theological Seminary who grovel at Jewish politicians of Dallas. Don't they know that they are to give their lives for the Gospel? Whey do they serve Jews as masters. You can't serve two masters. I call on Dallas Theological Seminary to serve only Christ as King and God.

This book is on the "Great List of Books" because it helped me to grow in my Christian faith. There are so many misunderstandings about Jesus Christ in the world. And academic theologians have not helped to bring Christians in America closer to the Biblical truth. This book does. And there is spiritual power in that. It changed my life completely. Excellent Book for Understanding Christianity's Place in Global Moral Conflict

This is a very important book for understanding how Christians can win the moral contest in the world. It is becoming more and more clear that moral contest is being lost by the Christian Church. Why? NOT because the Word of God is weak. NOT because God is not true. But because Christians have chosen to take the path of weakness. There are Christians who gave up their possessions to follow Jesus Christ. There are Christians who have willingly given up their life to the sword of anti-Christian governments to defend the honor of Christ. But it seems, particulary in America, that "Christians" have become selfish and care only about personal aggrandizement. There isn't the concern to work, live, and die for Christ, King of Kings and LORD of lords who has redeemed them from their eternal damnation in Hell. Maybe these Christians will find out that they actually do not have a place in Heaven when they die. Just as they acted like they did not know Jesus Christ and did not stand up for His honor in society, Christ will say, "Away from me you evildoers, I never knew you."

Christian Holy War?

I bought this in a local Barnes and Noble bookstore and was astonished by it. I guess the astonishment is part shock and part amazement. I was impressed by the author's bravery in tackling the concept of Christian Holy War. I know it's a historic concept in the experience of Christians, but not many talk about it in today's political correct culture. And I was shocked by the way he bravely described real life scenarios and what Christians are supposed to do.

Nice Story

Anna is an angel who has memory of her life on Earth even though she is not supposed to. Jesus consults with Gabriel and allows Anna to go back to Earth to check on her daughter's well-being. A very nice story about love and family with a bit of humor mixed in.

A Story of Angels in Heaven and on Earth

There was a point in this story where I thought it was based on the life of a real person. But at the end, there is a very cute twist. Do you know what the angels and Jesus talk about in heaven? Author Richard Porter does. Read the book and you will, too.

Heartwarming

This is a tale about an Angel named Anna who still remembers her life on Earth because she was worried about the well-being of her daughter Catalina. Anna did not have an easy life, but she worked hard to provide for her four children. This is a wonderful story about a mother's love, interjected with a little bit of humor.

Great Story About Angels

I love the ending. It was a surprise that I didn't expect. This book was well written and a good story about Angels. It has a good story to teach your kids!

"A Warmhearted Tale"

Richard Porter is not quite yet an author, but he's a man who loves to share stories and dreams. As a storyteller, he is exceptional and is truly gifted in writing this story. He begins with a dialogue between Angel Gabriel and Jesus. They are concerned about Angel Anna who is sad and worried about her child Catalina back on earth. She should not have the memory of earth, but she fears for her daughter. Thus, she is sent back to earth to relive her life and to discover the life of Catalina. This is a very heartwarming story of a mother's love. I think this is the best story yet told by Richard Porter. And...it's pretty well edited! I'm happy for him!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Years ago when I asked this AMAZING author to write this short story for my wife as a birthday present, we were completely blessed with how truly AMAZING the story turned out.

Then the following year, for Heather's birthday, the second part was written ... Once again... we were completely blown away with how good the story had continued.

A couple years later, we were jumping for joy when we heard this author had finished the story as a trilogy.

NOW... it's in audio and read by Barbara Ann Martin!!!
