Annoying lip smacking

The book is good but it was hard to listen to b/c the reader did a lot of lip licking/smacking that you could hear. She has a very pleasant voice but I couldn't get past the mouth noises.

Clarity on what relationship with God is

In a lot of ways this book is about the authorâs journey out of Catholicism, but at a more fundamental level it is her journey out of religion and into relationship.

You can benefit from Ms. Detweilerâs story. Perhaps she can save you some time, trouble and heartache by getting to a real relationship or a deeper relationship with God sooner.

This book revolves around the authorâs story but she extensively adds in scriptures, Bible stories and quotes from other Christian authors.

There is a clear presentation of the gospel, that is, that it is by faith in Jesus alone, nothing added.

If you are confused by what it means to have a relationship with God or wondering if you have one or not this book is for you! Although it best addresses that, it also helps with deepening a relationship that you may already have with God.

Very wonderful read

I would highly recommend this book for those searching for a new understanding of your faith and views on religion. Mary brings to light that so many people live by what "religion" dictates rather than a true relationship with God and how you need to view that relationship rather than living by "church" standards over the true relationship and standards of God. This book brings such a new understanding of having a real relationship with God and scriptures to back everything up. "From the beginning of time, God invited the human beings he created to be in relationship with him. His intention was never to give religion to the human race. His intention was to offer human beings a relationship with himself that was personal and intimate. God wants a relationship with us." This just brings to light the theme of the whole book.

God's beautiful creation from a musical perspective

How beautiful God's voice must have been, creating the universe, whether spoken or SUNG. However He created it, it was done with nothing less than the greatest Love for man. This book is for children, but absolutely brought tears to my eyes as I realize how majestic His creation is, and how He knew we would sin, yet even then He had a plan.

It's a short book, but definitely worth buying for the beautiful imagery of God creating the universe and man with song and music, which man will only hear again in heaven. An absolute MUST read for any Christian.

Excellent Children's Book!

I loved this book! It has incredible visuals and an excellent message. Read it to my niece and she loved it. It's "our book" now. I recommend this for everyone. Instant classic!

A Truly inspiring and a wonderful Allegory about seeking after the Kingdom of Heaven

Highly recommended for those who truly treasures the Kingdom of Heaven but are dissatisfied with the Church and Christianity and can't understand why they feel this way. This book inspires the heart to a deeper desire for seeking after the Kingdom of Heaven and brings an understanding about the Journey that it takes to find it and a surprise discovery. Essential For Every Christian Living In Our Time

I can honestly say, that in being a Christian for over 30 plus years, this

has been one the the most transformational books I have ever read; and

I've read so many, as they are out there.

Gary takes us out of our traditional walls, and challenges us to see some

all important truths, which reveal the deepest part of God and His plan

for us. Putting the pieces together that Purity learns along the way, reveals the Christian walk as it should be, if we identify ourselves as wearing a true "Christian" label.

Impacting Revelation!

Reading this book is like taking a wonderful journey as Ramon shares a lot of revelation on familiar scriptures from the Hebrew translation, customs and understandings, particularly those out of old testament and how it applies to Jesus, the new testament and to our lives today.

Some of the subjects he writes on (with scripture backup) challenged some of my previous beliefs based on what I had been taught and am thankful for that challenge and have grown from it.

The insights are powerful and life changing. I found the book full of hope as you see how God worked with the great biblical characters to "paint" their lives though they often took back the brush; how their live progressed, when they didn't and how it still applies to us and His work in us today.

If you want "more of God", and are seeking to know Him more intimately, I highly recommend this book!
