Badger and the Unknown Scare Actor collected interviews and commentary from the show floor while The Haunt Rocker and Storm held down the fort at the studios to add some flair and music that only the Big Scary Show can provide. Coming off the heels for the busiest convention weekend for the Haunt industry has not slowed down production of the third episode of the monstrously growing Big Scary Show. First off Badger speaks to Ricou Browning about his career and how he brought to life an iconic movie monster. Then Badger takes a few min with Stacy Saman to talk about her art and Gothic Gourds. Deadline News is packed with late breaking info right off the floor of HauntCon. The Roundtable of Terror welcomes special guest Charles Terry from Haunterís Digest to give us a complete breakdown of Apps and how they can help bring the way your haunt entertains customers to the next level. Jerry Vayne has been getting new music submissions at [email protected] and some new dark compositions are featured on the show. The Unknown Scare Actor uses his trip to HauntCon for inspiration while channeling the fears of procrastination and Ohio drivers. Meanwhile Storm redefines reality with a wild rant in the Haunt Minute. Listen carefully for a special live review of some of Jerryís music as it inspires reaction outside of a working haunted attraction. Will there be another cryptic message from Mommie-D, or did Badger leave her on the side of the road outside of Pittsburgh?

Well, it’s 2019 and the Big Scary Show bids a fond farewell to 2018 as only we can, with another show chock full of news and information to keep you on top of the haunt industry. It may only be January, but we’re beginning the countdown to our 7th anniversary in April.
The Roundtable of Terror takes a final look back on 2018 as we discuss the various haunt adventures the (g)hosts had; from HAuNTcon in New Orleans, Transworld, Days of the Dead, MHC, Midsummer Scream, Horrorhound Weekend, Cedar Point, all the haunted houses in September and October, and much more. In addition, the (g)hosts make their predictions for 2019. How successful will they be?
There’s a brand-new Gruesome Giveaway for January. Storm brings us his usual rant in a Haunt Minute, Badger brings us the latest Deadline News, The Haunt Stru-metallist Jerry Vayne serves up some HOT tunes for this cold weather, and Vysther wraps up 2018 in his own unique way.
You might notice Meathook Jim is conspicuously absent in this episode. Jim lost his younger brother on January 1st so he’s taking time to be with family. Please keep him in your thoughts and he’ll be back soon.

December….it’s already too cold in the northern states, but that doesn’t stop 3 of the (g)hosts from brings you the latest show, as Badger to some time off to be with family.
The Roundtable of Terror is all about Christmas themed haunts, as we get a good idea on how the traditional haunt is turned into a land of holiday horrors. Brett Hays, Kevin Stich, and Jessie Hailey give us 3 different views on a Dark Christmas.
Storm brings us the latest Deadline News, as well a haunt minute about Holiday Magic. Meathook Jim’s Between the Corpses is about the new Horror Novel, Bonebelly and author Christine Lajewski. Vysther is back with a segment on the 40th anniversary of Dawn of the Dead, and the Haunt-strumentalist spins the spooky tunes.

Turkey Day is here, and Meathook Jim is back from his honeymoon with the Lady of Darkness ( Now Mrs. Meathook) and they spent a lot of time in the Haunted Mansion ay Walt Disney World. Now after Thanksgiving and a lot of good food the show must go on…
The Roundtable of Terror is about HauntCon, coming up in January, as we speak with Liz Irving of Urban Expo, and vendor Alisa Kleckner, about why you should attend, things to do in the Big Easy, and HauntCon doubling in size!

New BIG SCARY SHOW – Episode 171 – A look back at the 2018 Haunt Season
And just like that, it’s over. After a glorious few weeks, we must unfortunately put the final nail in the coffin of the 2018 haunt season. But before we disappear back into the darkness, the Big Scary Show invites you to look back at the season that was.
We send Badger to a pair of haunts in NC, Upper Stanley Haunted Trail and Zombie Hollow, and talks to the owners about the impact the wet weather made on these outdoor attractions. Afterwards, he’s warm and dry in Atlanta at the Oddities and Curiosities Expo and talks to several vendors, the organizer, and a suspension artist. (Don’t listen to her while you’re eating lunch). The Roundtable of Terror takes a look back at the season that was with special guests Vysther and Dan Leopold from MAUL who share stories and adventures with the (g)hosts. Relive some great times and great scares of the season during this fun Roundtable.

It’s finally here! The most wonderful holiday of them all, Halloween, and the Big Scary Show is celebrating in a big way. We sent Badger to visit a pair of haunts in the Carolinas to talk about their seasons and what’s new this year. Storm rants about people trying to make you angry for Halloween. Meathook Jim introduces us to ‘The Dean’ (hope you never have to go to detention). And The Haunt-Strumetallist Jerry Vayne brings us a trio of spooky tunes to keep you in the Halloween spirit.
The Roundtable of Terror continues its annual tradition of talking about Halloween, this time with Folklorist and Mythology professor Kerry Noonan. If that name sounds familiar, she was an actress from Friday the 13th Part 6, among other roles. It’s a fascinating conversation you don’t want to miss. As a bonus, Badger sat down with her earlier this year at Days of the Dead Charlotte and we’ve got that interview here too.
