Our line-up includes Isao Takahata’s The Tale of Princess Kaguya, which opens next Friday, November 21.  Next, we’ll be discussing Jon Jost’s Last Chants for a Slow Dance which plays this Sunday, November 16 at 1PM.  Finally we’ll be discussing Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, which plays this Saturday night, November 15 at 11PM as part of Bijou After Hours.

Our line-up includes Dear White People, which opened last Friday at FilmScene, and will continue to play throughout the weekend and following week. Next, we'll be discussing Kathryn Bigelow's sci-fi thriller Strange Days, which plays this Saturday night, November 8, at 11PM, as part of Bijou After Hours. Finally we'll be discussing Happy Valley, a documentary that explores Penn State football culture in the wake of Jerry Sandusky's arrest. Happy Valley plays at FilmScene Tuesday, November 11, at 6PM as part of Bijou Film Forum. Professor Travis Vogan, from UI's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, will be joining us during our third segment to discuss the film.

Our line-up includes Gregg Araki’s White Bird in a Blizzard, which opens Friday, November 7 at FilmScene.  Next, we’ll be discussing Stephen Chow’s Journey to the West, which plays Tuesday, November 4, at 6PM, as part of Bijou Horizons a series dedicated to bringing awareness to world cinema.  Finally we’ll be discussing Ghost in the Shell, which plays this Saturday night, November 1, at 11PM as part of Bijou After Hours.  Patrick Brown, member of the Bijou Film Board and film reviewer for Little Village, will be joining us during our third segment to discuss the film.

Next, we'll be discussing The Skeleton Twins, which opened last week at FilmScene, and will continue playing through the end of the month. Finally we'll discuss Fruitvale Station, which plays Tuesday, October 28th, at 6PM as part of Bijou Film Forum.
