In this story we see Moses as Egyptian god who saves his people, and the king of Egypt thought himself as god who was taking away peoples freedom because of his arrogance. বাজারে তখন ট্রেন্ড চলছিলো শ্যামা সঙ্গীতের। শ্যামা সঙ্গীত গেয়ে সবাই রীতিমতো বিখ্যাত হয়ে যাচ্ছে। এই স্রোতে গা ভাসাতে গিয়ে অনেক মুসলিম শিল্পী হিন্দু নাম ধারণ করেন। মুনশী মোহাম্মদ কাসেম হয়ে যান ‘কে. মল্লিক’, তালাত মাহমুদ হয়ে যান ‘তপন কুমার’। মুসলিম নামে হিন্দু সঙ্গীত গাইলে গান চলবে না। নজরুল নিজেও শ্যামা সঙ্গীত লেখেন, সুর দেন। গানের বাজারের যখন এই অবস্থা তখন আব্বাস উদ্দীনের আবদার “ বাংলায় ইসলামি গান তো তেমন নেই। বাংলায় ইসলামি গান গেলে হয় না?” জবাবে নজরুল কী উত্তর দেবেন?

নজরুল সাহিত্য নিয়ে চর্চার অভাব আছে বাংলা সাহিত্যে এখনো। কথা সত্য। কিন্তু এই কারণে আমি নজরুল কে নিয়ে পডকাস্ট করা বেছে নিয়ে তা ঠিক নয়। বরং নজরুলের রচনা আমার বেক্তিগত জীবনে এন্ড পেশায় তুলনামূলক ভাবে বেশি প্রাসঙ্গিক।
