Microsoft Corp’s co-founder Bill Gates said we’ll be “lucky” if we get an effective vaccine before the end of the year. Gates has spent most of his time and efforts during the pandemic into funding vaccine research and development. Since early February, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has committed over $350 million to kick-start the development of vaccines and treatments.
