Yesterday at Queen’s Park, the Premier said that the provincial NDP along with the former Liberal government “destroyed” the city of Hamilton and that the credit for our improving economy should go to MPP Donna Skelly and the Ontario government. This has not gone over well with many Hamiltonians – including hometown rockers, Arkells – which is a fairly predictable outcome. So why did the Premier say this, what will the fallout be, and can this disparaging comment be turned into an opportunity?
