On Tuesday the house was nearly full —as members gathered to pay tribute to someone first elected in 1959 as the member for Peel. That 29-year-old MPP eventually became the second-longest serving premier in Ontario history, with a list of accomplishments that could sink a ship. That MPP’s name was Bill Davis.
