On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has his weekly thoughts and observations on the Buffalo Bills after watching the coaches All-22 film and analyzing the PFF grades of an ugly loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in prime time that dropped them to 5-4 on the season and raises legitimate questions about this is even a playoff team let alone a championship caliber squad.
Film study along with the naked eye reveals to Patrick that among other things Sean McDermott's personnel in the secondary doesn't seem to match his aggressive defensive attack philosophy, Von Miller having no business being on the field for the game's most critical defensive play, every thing seeming to feel like a grind for the Bills offense---laboring for points and first downs that feel more effortless to other teams and a handful of PFF grades that feel a bit too generous.
Patrick also talks about the puzzling inconsistent production of Gabe Davis, Deonte Harty feeling like a waste of money as things stand, big struggles for a Bills rookie and an admirable job by linebacker Tyrel Dodson.
That and plenty more Bills notes, grades and thoughts from yet another disappointing offensive showing.
