In this episode, Dr. Richard Dubois shares his recommendations for keeping children healthy while in school. Dr. Rick Dubois is an infectious disease specialist and one of the early pioneers in treating AIDS patients. Dr. Dubois received his medical degree from the State University of New York and after graduation, he served as a Navy physician for three years, including one year in Vietnam. When he returned from his military tour of duty, Dr. Dubois completed his medical training at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Today Dr. Dubois is retired from his most recent position as chief of internal medicine at Atlanta Medical Center where he received The Award of Excellence in Teaching. During his career, Dr. Dubois also served as the president of the Georgia Society of Internal Medicine, president of the Infectious Diseases Society of Georgia and president of the Medical Association of Atlanta.
