Fall is here. So you know what that means. Lots and lots of pumpkin ale to avoid. Also, the Binge Movie Aftertaste opens a whole new flood of retrospectives. To kick things off, I decided to go for the jugular for a series of shows which began as an off hand comment. On a recent Bingecast, that Patriots loving bastard Jack Valley had mentioned he had just watched The Godfather Part II. In the same sentence -face it, Valley does nothing in the same sentence- Jack said that The Godfather Trilogy would make for an interesting retrospective. Well faster than you could say Taco Tuesday, Moreno text me saying he would be completely down to do the retrospective shows with us.

So, here is where we stand. On the first show, we watch and dissect director Francis Ford Coppola's 1972 look at the mafia entitled The Godfather. It is a movie that many film-goers and critics alike call the greatest film of all time. But will all three of us agree? The answer is stitched somewhere between talk of many memorable moments from the film, laughter at my lack of Godfather knowledge, and even an impromptu cooking segment with Jack and Moreno. To find out what we think -as we know, certain people of this site have called certain loved films shined up dog turds- just download the show. If you don't do so, expect a horse head in your bed when you wake up in the morning.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know that the Binge Sports Movie Commentary series is supposed to continue this week with Remember the Titans, but if you've listened recently then you'd know that in lieu of that, we've decided to try and better last year's debacle of broadcasting the draft of the first season of the Binge Fantasy Football League. Lesson learned.

With that being said, we tried again and went bigger and yet smaller this time around. Gone are our guests from last year (they certainly did nothing wrong) and I've painfully invited the Binge Bowl champ, Jack Valley, to join me as we make our picks for the upcoming year while simultaneously watching and attempting to do a commentary of Draft Day, which I'll openly admit does get lost in the shuffle a bit here. We've talked about MacGyver's arch-nemesis in the past, but in this week's commentary, we finally get to meet him:  Murdoc.  A man that MacGyver and the Phoenix Foundation know SO well, that Mac completely falls for every goddamn trap Murdoc sets for him in this episode.  Seriously Mac, look at your life, look at your choices.  However, none of this holds a candle to young Teri Hatcher, who play Mac's "little sister" Penny Parker.  Is there anything better than youth?  The answer is yes.  The answer is the first 5 minutes of this episode in which young Teri Hatcher's boobs bounce all over the place.  It's fucking distracting.  And spectacular.

Don't forget that we plan to do commentaries on the new CBS MacGyver show when it's released on September 23rd.  Can't wait for that shit show.
