Welcome to a very special edition of the Binge SportsCast. With WWE Payback on the horizon, Batch and I first needed to do a recap of WrestleMania 32, which we certainly do get to in detail. But for a show this big, we needed a little help. So I went 15 hours into the future to find it. Welcome Godzilla Heads –

This week on The Binge Movie Aftertaste, I am joined by my friend and fellow movie geek Zach Grooten to discuss a lizard creature who looks nothing like Maggie Gyllenhal. Ok, maybe a little. Of course I am talking about Godzilla. Born in the 50s and resurrected by both Chinese and American filmmakers alike, Godzilla is a pop culture mainstay who has seen his fair share of incarnations.

Zach and I are here to discuss all of them. Ok, maybe not all 28 of them. But within this hour ten minutes plus, we talk about highlights and lowlights -of which Godzilla has had plenty of both- throughout his entire cinematic run. From his very first feature to how JJ Abrams’ Cloverfield fits into the Godzilla lexicon, all the way through the Godzilla Resergence trailer that dropped this month, Zach and I make the lizard eat his own radioactive breath. Ok, that was stupid.

FINALLY…the Binge SportsCast has come back to Binge Media. For those of you not in the know, that’s a Dwayne Johnson reference…you know, since I do a wrestling podcast and all. However, for the first time in a long time, this is not a wrestling version of the Binge SportsCast as I’m back from my hosting duties of our amazing Better Call Saul commentaries to cover a few things I’ve missed in my absence. I talk a little about Kobe Bryant’s retirement, some NCAA Tournament, tell you all about meeting one of my sports heroes (see pic below), get into the early part of the baseball season and get into some NBA and NHL Playoffs as well.

But before getting into all of that, I do a quick segment to open the show with our own Jack Valley, who takes some time out from hating on Sass to talk about something he hates even more. Yep, it’s the story that just won’t go away and of course I’m talking about Tom Brady.

It’s good to be back and this is the first of two episodes of the Binge SportsCast you’ll be getting this week as Batch and I will be back later this week with a very special guest to get into some wrestling as WWE Payback comes at you this weekend.

Holy shit was this a fun commentary.

Ammon Gilbert joins me for his very first appearance on Monday Morning Moreno to bask in our mutual love of MacGyver.  The episode is called “Ghost Ship” and is the 4th episode in Season 3 and features MOTHERFUCKING BIGFOOT.  Yeah, that’s right.  I’ve had this idea ever since seeing this episode for the first time a few months.  Gilbert, Pacific Northwest, Bigfoot, perfect right?  But with the recent influx of Sass Quatch on Facebook, I felt the time was ripe to get this puppy off the ground.

Not only that, I had Sass himself join us for the commentary.  It’s a sure fire way to get under that cocksucker, Jack Valley’s skin.  I’ve never claimed to play the game straight.  Bitches.
