Binge Media

The penultimate episode has us asking a lot of questions. How will it end? Who do we want to die? Who do we want to survive?  Was Rebecca killed by the serial killer?

See?  A lot of questions.  Listen. Enjoy. Play with yourself (don’t do that while listening to us please).

The boys are back together for a week of disagreements and drunken girl fights. Kupka joins us early to talk shit about the Fantasy Movie League. Moreno starts strong but taps himself out in the middle of his review for THE LOBSTER. Law has violent surprise poops. And Ammon is late and high as balls.

Law reacts to his latest trip to the Motor City Comic Con and why Ian Ziering made him sad.

TV Round Up covers Veep, Game of Thrones, Banshee, The Path, the MacGyver reboot, Agent Carter getting cancelled, and more,

Movie Homework is all about FRIDAY THE 13th and Kevin Bacon’s skills in bed.

What Did You Watch is a disaster as Moreno forgets how to talk while Ammon revisits DEADPOOL and Law watched THE FINEST HOURS.

El Mariachi calls in live again to kick off our Best Comedy Sequels lists and the boys play a half-hearted game of Fuck/Marry/Kill before passing out.

0:00:00-Begin

0:02:10-Welcome to the Bingecast. Try not singing it. Moreno, you asshole, where you been? Kupka shows up too. BMFL bullshit will obviously be coming your way. High Life met a long time listener. Law went to Motor City Comic-Con. Nobody gives a shit.

0:29:35-TV ROUND UP. After Moreno continuously fucks up, Banshee gets discussed. Then Game of Thrones gets heavily dissecteed. Veep and Silicon Valley are next in line. There’s a bit of talk about the Sons of Anarchy spinoff called Mayans. The boys discuss the ABC cancelled list, which includes The Family (Fuck you Law) and Agent Carter. Kupka brings up Agents of SHIELD. Ammon is the only one watching The Path. Breaking Bad commentaries. Yup. It’s Happening. MACGYVER IS COMING BACK, BITCHES.

1:18:59-FUHGOOGLE VOICE.

1:21:01-Surprise Call. Tangent Following. Shit.

1:38:00-GOOGLE VOICE presses on. The boys also play sounders from Twitter that have been going for three weeks straight. Also who called in with the Macho Man voice?

2:06:30-The boys discuss their top 5 comedies that are sequels. This is thanks due to the surprise caller putting them on the spot.

2:23:41-MOVIE HOMEWORK: Friday the 13th

2:43:08-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? Law starts with The Finest Hours. Moreno checked out The Lobster. Ammon revisited Deadpool and read Night Film. Gilbert is so hammered at this point he reviews a book. Law continues talking about books with Ammon. WHAT THE FUCK. Anyway, that’s it for this segment.

3:08:37-MARRY, FUCK, KILL: Spontaneous edition. Then more random shit. Go home.

We’re stilling rolling along with the random MacGyver commentaries (let’s just call him Gyvey from now on), and we don’t plan to stop any time soon.  Hopefully you guys are enjoying these as much as we enjoy recording them.

This week, Gyvey helps a bunch of really tough gangbangers find their place in the world.  No bullshit.  My chick keeps tally on the amount of times “gang” is said, I show up as a character called “Other Moreno”, and Dan Cortese from the old MTV Sports days co-stars and we find out that it’s PeteMC’s brother in law.

Next week’s MacGyver commentary:  S4EP2 “Blood Brothers”.

Jack Valley and Law are joined by Art From Cali to dissect the latest happening over in the Game of Thrones. Where is Jon going? Did the Red Bitch really do what they think she did? Is that who we think it is? Did he just fart? Is that other dude really dead and will he fight his brother? Fuck Ollie. All this and more during one of our more focused commentaries of the season.

There you go.

We hate what this show’s become.

The response for the random MacGyver commentaries has been very positive, so let’s make this a regular goddamn thing alright?  Or regular enough.  This week’s episode is the season 3 finale cliffhanger called “Murderer’s Sky”, which can be found on Netflix.  The synopsis details the episode as, “The only heir of a rich Chinese shipping magnate is living in a monastery.  MacGyver enlists his help to fight a criminal takeover of the business.”  Only, that’s not all of it.  Here’s what is also featured in this episode, guest co-hosted by my chick and PeteMC:

A little kid beats the fuck out of 19 dudes with chains while MacGyver watches

American doctors hate Eastern medicine

Young Tia Carrere is drop dead gorgeous

45 different assassination attempts

Ammon and Law are joined by Batch to get down with all the week’s worthy news. They got reviews of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, TRIPLE 9, WHERE TO INVADE NEXT, Game of Thrones, The Family, The Path, and lots more.

Google voice is packed with movie reviews, songs, and people yelling at Law.

Get up on it!

Welcome to a brand new Binge Movie Aftertaste. In honor of that one movie coming out about a civil war -is Morgan Freeman in this one?- I present an episode surrounding the one and only Spider-Man. To help me on my journeys through his filmography, I welcome longtime Web head -and BingeCast time stamper- Logan James. After speaking to him about how fun -or frustrating- it is to time stamp 5 hour long podcasts, Logan and I get down to the nitty gritty of Spider-Man.

Some things we ask and not always answer:

How did Logan become such a huge fan of the character?

What big name director was attached to the 2002 film through most the early to mid 90s before Sam Raimi signed on?

How is Spider-Man 2 like Evil Dead?

What is the only thing I say works about Marc Webb’s first film of his The Amazing Spider-Man franchise?

Did The Amazing Spider-Man 2 improve with a couple years behind it?

How will Spidey come off now that Marvel has their hands on it?

How will Tom Holland do in the role, and why did he sign on to this franchise when he hasn’t even directed another Fright Night yet?

Spider-Man (8.5/10, 8/10)

Spider-Man 2 (7.5/10, 7/10)

Spider-Man 3 (5/10, 6/10)

The Amazing Spider-Man (7/10, 4.5/10)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (7.5/10, 6/10)

There is a ton to digest in this week’s episode of Game of Thrones and Law, recognizing that there’s no way all this commentary can be contained in one country, calls upon the help of Episode IV and Robert Anthony Richard aka Bob A Dick aka Creepy 209 Guy.  Everything from the Lannisters listening to Justin Bieber mix tapes with Jax (seriously) to Short Round knocking Balon Greyjoy the FUCK out is happening on the show these days and the boys have plenty to say about it.  There’s even some talk of the more outlandish theories that fifes like you have been coming up with and the probability of them being “a thing”.

Also, as is the weekly custom, fuck Moreno.
