Here we are again, Bingers. Time to tackle a franchise for your listening pleasure. Though this time, we will be tackling two at a time. Sort of.

Let me explain where I’m coming from here. For our special lead in to Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, I decided to look at the two characters surrounding it by asking two other guys from the site, who also happen to be huge fans of their respected characters, to come on the Aftertaste and discuss them both at length.

After a disastrous and drunk (successful) recording of this week’s BingeCast, I’m still barely able to function this morning after a nasty hangover and an allergy reaction that had me tripping balls on Benadryl for most of the day.  That said, I found time to go over this year’s Binge Movie Fantasy League with The Architect as he now demands to be called (he never demanded it), one James E. Supka.  This idea has been hot boxing in Supka’s head for the past couple of years and after a couple of successful seasons of the Hottie Fantasy League with increasing participants, we’re finally rolling it out this year.  And we couldn’t any more excited.  We’ve got more participants than last year, more opportunities at scoring, which all leads to more shit talking.  I do have to say that I’m disappointed that there will be no more titty points this year, and it hurts me personally as the chief songwriter of “Titty Points” (where the only lyrics “titty points” are chanted over and over).  All that being said, take a listen at the breakdown of rules and points and comment here or the BingeMedia FB group with your issues or suggestions.  Supka will breakdown in detail the rules and point structure in a separate article soon to be published today.

Binge Media’s TV Round-Up returns as Luke and Jack are back with commentary for Season 2, Episode 3 of Better Call Saul, “Amarillo”. Moreno wanted to join in but was apparently trapped in a snowstorm, so if we don’t hear from him before next week’s BingeCast, somebody call the police.

A lot of times, I like to start intros to podcasts in the vein of, ‘this took so much work to put together,’ acting like what I do around here is actual work. Truth is, a lot of times, it is a collaborative effort. I love to give Jason Morris a hard time, but the man has a real creative vision and a lot of the shows we do together are a synergy of creative artistry.

In regards to the creation of this particular show about the documentary entitled The Resurrection of Jake The Snake, I credit one man. That man being Batch (cue Batch Bomb). After watching this powerful documentary, Batch got in touch and said he would like to talk about it on my show with me. After wiping tears from my eyes on my viewing of the documentary, I more than full heartedly agreed.

During this podcast, Batch and I go over our own childhood memories of watching Jake The Snake in action. As well as what watching his fall from grace did to our hearts. We also pepper in a little DDP Yoga talk, which I have just purchased for my own self. And then, it is on to the movie.

The Resurrection of Jake The Snake is such a roller coaster of emotions, that we try our best to not cover all of them as much as just give you all an overview of what the movie shows. But the most beautiful thing about it is, you do not have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy it.
