Affirmations aren’t a new concept. You’ve undoubtedly heard about them and maybe even tried them. But if you’re like me and many of the clients I’ve coached, affirmations can feel disingenuous and dare I say, even “fake.” Plus, if what you’re affirming is in big contrast to your current reality, your brain’s B.S. radar can put up some big walls of resistance. If this sounds like you, or even if you love affirmations and use them, this episode is going to give you 3 specific steps on how to make affirmations feel genuine, empowering, move you to take ACTION in your life, AND get your brain on board.
I hope you listen and even more importantly, I hope you take action and utilize using affirmations in this way in your life!

In this week's solo episode, I'm talking all about the F word - failure - and why in order to succeed in any area of your life, you need to change your brain's meaning of it.
I'm sharing my deep subconscious fear around failure that took twenty years to understand, and the shift that not only changed failure's influence in my life, but changed my brain's need to protect me from it. If you have any fear around failure at all, this episode is a must listen! In this week’s solo episode I'm sharing the perspective shift that changed how I felt about my body - and how it can for you too! This discussion is so important for many reasons, but two I cover in this episode are:
1) body insecurity can create ongoing mental and emotional stress, which also negatively impacts your physical health, and 2) body insecurity is often the source of why many people don’t engage in certain activities and more fully LIVE their life.
Improving your physical fitness and health WHILE also living and enjoying your life IS possible. In fact, I’m sharing how this perspective shift can also be the key to adopting and sustaining long-term healthy habits.
