With all the talk about the 2019 Reboot of Child's Play, we thought it was a great time to go back and check out the one that started it all.
1988's killer doll epic was a surprise hit that spawned a franchise that is still going today. Surprisingly it was originally going to be a psychological thriller where the killer doll was not really alive. It was written as a scapegoat for Andy's dark side for which he could blame his evil deeds on. And while that is an interesting idea we never would have gotten to see the iconic character of Chucky onscreen.
Brad Dourif does an amazing job bringing this character to life along with some top notch special effects by Kevin Yagher.
