We also ponder as to whether or not The Ultimate Warrior died and was replaced by a body-double. Does the spirit of The Ultimate Warrior jump from body to body searching for the real ultimate specimen of a man to be the greatest wrestler alive? Sounds reasonable.

Have you ever seen the movie The Mothman Prophecies? If not I highly recommend getting Covid and drinking a half a bottle of Nyquil to watch it. It's pretty much the only way it will make sense. Back in 1966 the Mothman visited the town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He chased some cars, he hung out at the old TNT factory, but most importantly, he warned the people of the portents of doom that would visit their town. On December 15th, 1967 (oh, man, I'm pretty sure I might have said the wrong year the entire episode) The Silver Bridge collapsed and killed 46 people. Was the Mothman there to tell them that doom was surely upon their doorstep? Has he showed up throughout history to warn of potential calamities? Could he be a representation of the Banshee or the Garuda? There's only one way to find out. Listen to this podcast or like...the 1,000 others that cover it. The end is nigh! And...it sort of seems like the end has been nigh for a very long time, not just because the world is going to shit, but because it's been predicted that world is going to end...every few years. Being a Christian Podcast, we're going to focus on proposed second comings of our lord and savior Jesus Herbert Christ, the rapture if you will. Today we talk about William Miller who used math to predict that Jesus was coming way back in the early 1800's, spoiler alert: he didn't, but he did found the Seventh Day Adventist sect of Christianity. So, while he may not have bee a heart throb like Joseph Smith, he still left his mark. Next up is Harold Camping, a Christian radio broadcaster who spent millions in advertising, only to fail the end of the world prediction not once, not twice, but three times. Last up, we cover Ronald Weinland who is still using the new-fangled power of the internet to...keep pushing his prediction of the end times back. Who knows? Maybe the world already did end and one of these guys got it right. Maybe we're what's left after the rapture and this is just hell. I mean...it wouldn't not make sense if you consider *gestures broadly at everything*

We conclude our discussion on the Ark of the Covenant in talking about what could have happened to it after Babylon sacked Jerusalem in the 6th century BCE. There's lots of fun theories, like maybe the holy relic was nabbed by the Crusaders. There's a church in Ethiopia that claims it resides within its walls. I personally like Hawk's theory in that it is a sentient robot-like automaton that hangs out in the vast and ancient cave system underneath our planet. One thing is for sure, though. That son of a bitch for sure shoots lasers.

Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., 20-month-old son of the famous aviator and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, was kidnapped about 9:00 p.m., on March 1, 1932, from the nursery on the second floor of the Lindbergh home near Hopewell, New Jersey. His father became internationally famous for the first solo, nonstop transatlantic flight in history, flying his Spirit of St. Louis from Long Island, New York, to Paris, France. This may be one of the earliest "conspiracies" because of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the kidnapping. Was it an inside job? Was it even actually a kidnapping? A lot of evidence surrounds ladders and brings up an even more important question...how accessible were ladders during the Great Depression?

There's loads of conspiracies surrounding the National Basketball Association. I guess you'd call it...cheating? Whether we're talking about Tim Donaghy and how his gambling addiction led him to bet on his own games and make some questionable calls, or the 2002 WCF Lakers vs. Kings games where the referees were being shady at best. Does the NBA call the shots in these games, driving for a better story instead of allowing talent to really shine through? Sounds a lot like WWE, but we all know that's real. We discuss the questionable circumstances in which Patrick Ewing was drafted to the New York Nicks in 1985, and touch a little bit on how Michael Jordan's father, James Jordan, may have died under mysterious circumstances. South African anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela died in 2013...or did he? I mean, yes, he did historically die in that year. Why, then, are there thousands of people who remember and insist that he died in prison in the 1980's? I mean, thousands of people can't be wrong. Well...they can, and they are, but the question is, why? Could it be that human memory is faulty? Or could there be subtle shifts in our timeline that bring in people who experienced and alternate history to our own? Could that be why people misremember the spelling of Double Stuf Oreos? We cover a lot of reasons this conspiracy makes people so passionate, some explanations being childhood amnesia, a glitch in the Matrix and more-than-probable lack of media literacy...or literacy in general when it comes to just remembering how things are spelled.
