This song was written for a dear beloved friend who lost her believe in herself and in life. At that point she only wanted to die because of an upcoming trauma from her early past. I felt the urge of lifting her up and taking her by my hand, back into her own strength. Here is a part of my acoustic diary from that time.

When I was a very little child, I was always singing, wherever I was, whatever happened, on the street, when noone looked at me like I was crazy, even later at school when I forgot myself. My beloved and strictly religious Granny Helga Becker always took me to church where I learned to sound fully and fell in love with the greatness and openness of vocals even more.

Now after decades of doing studio work I now have the allowance to put some of the music where I was blessed to participate in out into the world! Often I was asked if people could join in the recordings. No, it would disturb. And mentioning ones own name is not state of the art when you are a paid professional who serves a certain company to help them get attention. So usually I was asked to keep it secret, which I did.

It fills my heart with pride to open up the treasure chest of the most wonderful songs that were so far hidden in my the digital archives and that are now seeing the daylight. I hope some people might like a few of them as much as I do.

Never published before ... Wonderful TV song about a loving couple meeting in the snow and forgetting the world around them. Was on TV for Vodafone. With the very deep voice of Mr. Löwe. My deepest gratitude to Andreas Bruhn.

Could you imagine to sing half the night for just a few seconds of perfection? I know no word of Bulgarian, yet I got a taste ... when I was singing more than 20 multiple vocal tracks and harmonies on top of another in this magical "Bulgarian voices" style of Trio Bulgarka. Again and again the producer wanted me to sing them till they all exactly fit in a timeless ethnic "throaty" sound inspired by "Les Mysteres des Voixes Bulgares".

Berlin 1999. One of my wildest dreams has come true and gave birth to another. Our major record deal with the Rammstein label "motor music" with my very own band "motorsheep" led us to a beautiful cooperation with the Berlin based soundtrack composer/producer Johnny Klimek and the Swiss composer Niki Reiser. I was too excited, so misbehaved then and offended Johnny without without purpose while recording, as I found the chorus too predictable and joked about the producers name, too. Oo ... bad girl. Hardly ever clean those days. One day the director and actor Dani Levi came into the studio to see how his soundtrack was going. Unfortunately I was exactly then vocally experimenting to give this song a shouting vocal choire, so I was a littlle experimenting, and everyone was laughing out loud about those weird sounds coming out of my mouth. He was amused. I was embarrased, but art is a high good and needs new steps out of the comfort zone. Never mind, this song was in the last minute kicked from the album as the amazing Guano Apes suddenly reappeared. I still love it much and if any one likes it, too, I am happy :)

Another song later (Dust War) became part of the Bavarian Filmmusik Preis 1999 with Niki Reiser ...
