Happy New Year!

I can't believe we have made it to the end of this wild year! It's been more bad than good for sure, but some bright spots were sweet Hilda coming into this world (and so many of your adorable babies, too!) and getting to know so many of you, our amazing listeners and friends. We are SO thankful for you!

Today we are chatting with Sharon, who was just so kind and easy to chat with. You'll love hearing her story, as it's so similar to so many of ours.  By her third birth, she was finally educated and empowered enough to achieve exactly what she wanted - how awesome!

It's DECEMBER! Like almost Christmas - how?! Anyway - wow. Hope you have everything in order for the holidays and are enjoying this cozy time with your fam! :)

Today we are chatting with Savannah, who after her first birth did NOT go to plan, went down the natural rabbit hole and wound up having a home birth, like sooo many we have heard from before! We just love when women realize they can change their destiny when it comes to their births, even if the first (or first few!) didn't go to plan! Follow Savannah on Instagram! Hi everyone and happy Thanksgiving! 

We're a bit late this week.. oops! But have no fear - we are bringing you an awesome episode today! Sam has become an awesome friend to us on Instagram and going through our latest pregnancies was so much fun! Sam decided after her first birth didn't go as planned that she'd have her next baby in a birth center. Her labor was fast and furious and she achieved her goal!

Just wanted to let you know first off - Colleen had a rough go of it for her first birth so if you’re trying to avoid negative birth stories, try skipping about halfway through. Her second was positive and lovely!

Colleen had an easy first pregnancy and assumed birth would be the same. Although she had hoped for a natural labor, she was exhausted and decided to opt for an epidural. She experienced an onslaught of complications and although she delivered a healthy baby, she vowed never to get an epidural again! Her second birth was exactly what she needed. Thanks to Colleen for sharing both of her birth stories!

Jona is so easy to talk to and we loved hearing her birth story. She is super fit and walked her entire pregnancy, even during labor! I tried to steal her birthday cake idea to get my own labor kickstarted, but it didn't work out for me.. I did enjoy the cake, though, so thanks for the idea, Jona! :)
