Hi guys!
So we're finally back! From the title of the episode, you may have figured out that yes, I had a baby! She's a sweet little muffin named Hilda Bonnie and we are all so in love.
As I talked about previously, my first two babies were born in hospitals and I did not enjoy the experiences. Home birth has always been a dream of mine and I am so happy I got to have such a wonderful birth!
Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and if you're interested in sharing your birth story, please fill out this form - we'd love to share your story!
Thanks again for being a part of this!
Until next time,

Hi guys!
Wow, Aly is... AWESOME. We were SO excited to have her on. Not only is she an advocate for birth empowerment and the importance of informed consent, but she's a doula and nurse, too. She knows her stuff! You will love her story and hearing about how her unplanned c-section led her down a path of knowledge and culminated with her home birth. She's expecting #3 and we can't wait to hear how amazing that birth is! You can find Aly on your favorite podcast player (search Empowered Birth) or on Instagram!

Hi guys!
Today for our 25th episode (!!) we chat with Jamie. Jamie's story is so inspiring! Her unplanned c-section after induction with her first led her down a natural path in health and life. Her second baby came ten years later, and at home! It's amazing how birth can actually shape your health! Jamie is on Instagram, so make sure to follow her journey there!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back! You're going to love Laura. Really, truly! She is so fun and easy to talk to and her background in wellness just lends itself so well to her home birth story. Beyond her birth story, she talks about the wellness center she runs with her husband and touches on the importance of chiropractic care, during pregnancy, birth and beyond! Trust us guys, it's a good one!
Laura can be reached at [email protected], on her personal Instagram or at her wellness center's Instagram
Thank you to everyone who participated in our poll about the future of Birth Naturally. Your responses were SO helpful and in fact, we decided to start a YouTube channel! We don't have much on there now, but I'm sharing about my home birth prep and keeping a weekly video diary of my last few weeks of pregnancy (I'm reeeeeeeally hoping I don't have many more weeks left, ha!) We will be going beyond birth on our channel and talking about motherhood and who knows what! As always, if there's something you'd like us to delve into, let us know! We love getting emails ([email protected]) or reach out on Instagram!
That's all for now! Don't forget - we will be releasing episodes every other week in August but things SHOULD be back to normal come September!

Hi guys!
Thanks for tuning in today. We have Rachael on and her story is so redemptive. She had to have a planned c-section with her first baby but that didn't stop her from achieving her dream birth with her second. VBAC can seem scary and impossible but we've talked to some really inspiring moms who were able to achieve that goal!
So we are still collecting responses about the future of the podcast - we are hoping to get ideas to help us build and reach more moms! The link to the form is here (and by filling it out, you're entered to win an Amazon gift card and Birth Naturally sticker!) We appreciate all of you who have given your opinions so far; it helps a lot!
Throughout August, we will be only releasing episodes every other week, due to the fact that I should have a baby by then and will need a bit of time off! In the interim, we'd love to chat with a few more of you on the podcast, so let us know if you're interested in sharing your story! We're not scary, I promise! :)
Make sure you follow Rachael on Instagram for some really cool birth art (great gifts for your midwife!) and give us a follow, too!
And don't forget to give us a 5 star rating and reviews on your podcast player.. it's so helpful and we appreciate it so much!
Until next time,

Hi guys!
We are back! Thanks for being patient with us... we lost our grandmother, who we were so fortunate to have such a close relationship with. Our kids were also so lucky to have known her for so long and each had such a special bond with her. It's been a tough couple weeks but we are just trying to take care of ourselves and each other during this really difficult time.
So wow. I am so glad we're coming back with this episode! Michelle from Farm Life Outfitters is just such a kind soul. I (Kali) have been following her journey on Instagram and YouTube for awhile now and she and her husband just have such a sweet family and a lovely life on their farm in North Carolina. You won't be able to help but smile as you're listening and hear the sounds of the farm in the background! Michelle tells us the story of her fourth baby and first out of hospital birth. No matter what baby this is for you, it's never too late to change gears and create the birth experience YOU want! Michelle is proof of that.
Michelle mentioned Toups + Co Baby Balm - check out their stuff! Natural products and makeup... you won't be disappointed!
Also, please give us some feedback for some ideas we're kicking around. We LOVE being able to share your stories and we hope to be able to continue to do so as regularly as we have been. Here is a link to our Google Form so weigh in! Don't forget, you can always email us - [email protected] or get in touch on Instagram.
Until next time,

Guys - wow. This story is like nothing you've ever heard. And we want to put a warning here that sexual assault is mentioned, so if that bothers you, you may want to skip this one.
Elle's first birth ended in a VBAC and left her feeling devastated. She became a student of birth, educating herself and constructing her plan for her ideal second birth.
I won't give away the details, but really.. we were amazed by this story. We know you will be, too.
Let us know your thoughts on Instagram and if you are enjoying these beautiful stories, please give us a 5 star rating and review on iTunes. We are eternally grateful to those of you who already have!
Buckle up and enjoy Elle's story!
Until next time,

Amber's story is so real and raw. Sometimes pregnancy doesn't come quite as easily as we'd imagined! As the years ticked on, Amber and her husband eventually started down the road to IVF. Around that same time, Amber's eyes were opened to a more natural way of living. Miraculously, Amber was able to overcome great odds and get pregnant naturally!
Her story really inspired us to trust in our bodies and be grateful! We think you'll love hearing about her restorative natural birth, too! We just loved that phrase so much!
Follow Amber and learn more about her life and experience with oils! Don't forget to follow us, too!
We are loving all of your kind words and positive reviews on iTunes. If you have a moment, would you mind giving us a 5 star rating and a quick review? And even better - share us with a friend who loves natural birth, too!
Thanks for listening.. we appreciate each one of you!
Until next time,

Jessica, like many of us, had a negative view on birth. We always say this, but everyone LOVES to share a negative birth experience with an expecting mama, right?! It's so easy to be scared by what we've heard or by how birth is portrayed, but Jessica decided to simply step away from the negativity and replace it with positivity, and listening to positive birth stories is a beautiful, easy way to do that!
Jessica and her husband opted for a birth center for their first and her labor came on fast! We love that she discussed that she had a bleeding scare post partum because complications are something it's SO important to discuss with your care provider, no matter where you're birthing. Being prepared and knowing your provider is prepared will put your mind at ease.
Jessica is a super talented artist, so be sure to check her out on Instagram!
If you're interested in sharing your birth story, fill out our form because we'd love to chat with you!
And give us a follow on Instagram to see the latest from us!
