Bisexuality+ Awareness Week Kicks off on JOY Breakfast with Rach in the studio with John ‘Deeksy’ Deeks who explains his coming out journey. Ange Barry, CEO of JOY Media, joins Rach and Deeksy and talks about her journey from being married to a man to identifying as lesbian to her eventual realisation that our sexuality doesn’t need to be binary and now sits comfortably as a Pan-sexual. As a 72 year old Deeksy shares his coming out at a young age and the acceptance of his mother and sisters with his relationships with both women and men.

Bi Visibility Week runs from September 16th to 23rd to de-stigmatise bisexuality+ in the community and spread the joy of the diverse bi+ community. The celebration promotes cultural acceptance of the bisexual community and creates a platform for advocating bisexual rights.
