"Tension” is the final track on Bloom. Jesus Ramones - also known as Muditious, is a psychology expert, statistical analyst, and my oldest brother - joins me to talk about how “Tension” was based on a previous track I had made, the “land mines” of musical creation, and how the track feels like a better thematic conclusion to Bloom.
"Space” is the twelfth track on Bloom - the final track available for streaming platforms, but not the last track on the album. Dustin Ragland, also known as Young Weather, is a musician, composer, teacher, father, and philosopher, and we talked about the way “Space” was constructed, how embracing randomness contributed to the piece, how Bloom can be interpreted, and much more.
"Glimmer" is the eleventh track on Bloom. Libby is a great friend, and we talk about the simplicity of "Glimmer", the unreleased track it's loosely inspired by, and the retroactive meaning that has been given to it over time.
"Stream" is the tenth track on Bloom. Stephanie Peñate is a great keys player and we talked about how "Stream" is a round, friendship, and crappy Mellotron sounds.
"Contentment" is the ninth track on Bloom. Lee Gabriel is a musician and great friend and we talked about the use of layers in “Contentment”, how happiness is overrated, how contentment can lead to joy, and my growth as a musician.
"Trials" is the eighth track on Bloom. Chase Hampton, otherwise known as Generation Lossless, is a musician and producer and we talked about the sounds in “Trials”, the influences behind it, and allowing oneself to use presets in music creation.
"Swamp" is the seventh track on Bloom. Jonathan Edwards is a composer and cellist and we talked about the sounds in “Swamp”, how the track was inspired, and more!
