"Cruisin'" is the sixth track on Bloom. Campbell Young (The Lunar Laugh, Don't Tell Dena, Topicana Ice Cream) is a great musician that I've been lucky to collaborate with, and we talked about how "Cruisin'" is inspired by video game music, dubstep, and how the track plays with the listener's attention. Bloom will be available on August 8th, everywhere, and I hope you gain a deeper understanding of what went into the album. https://santiagoramones.com/
"Ghostly" is the fifth track on Bloom. Mac Seigel, who plays with Dr. Pants, Kill Carmine, and myself sometimes, talks to me about how I wrote the track, how much can be done with so little, and more!
"Familial" is the fourth track on Bloom. Daniel Ramones, my brother who is also the General Manager at Mexican Radio, talks to me about how I wrote the track, how he took part in it, and how the idea of family has become an important part of the track.
"Without" is the third track on Bloom. Sephra Scheuber (who is an amazing musician, teacher, and singer), talks to me about how the track came together, the education system that inspired it, and my journey on accepting my voice.
"Orbit" is the second track on Bloom. Jackson Fritts is a bassist and musician that also goes by Chameleon Factory. We talked about how "Orbit" began, the effects that make the track, the moon during the day, and ambient music in general.
Bloom is a time capsule - a reflection of my growth as a musician, composer, and producer. The journey of Bloom began in 2013, when I was first starting in music school, and ends in 2016, when I reworked the tracks and considered the project to be completed. Bloom is free creation from when I was unaware of the prejudices, biases, and guidelines that constrain all artistic creation.

Ironically enough, my audio file got corrupted, so their audio sounds great while mine sounds small and boxy because it’s Zoom’s compressed file.
