Von Miller is headed home to the Dallas Cowboys, and this is about much more than adding a recognizable name to the pass-rush rotation. Last night, I broke down why Von Miller fits Christian Parker’s vision for a multiple Cowboys defense, how Dallas could use his speed and versatility, and why opposing offenses may have a tougher time identifying pressure before the snap.

Can Von Miller still be a difference-maker at 37? His role may be situational, but that does not make the signing insignificant. From edge-rush combinations to coverage looks, disguised pressure, veteran leadership, and the Christian Parker connection, there are plenty of reasons the Cowboys defense could become more creative AND more difficult to prepare for.

Sue Bird, Cheryl Miller and Maria Taylor addressed the growing conversation around WNBA culture-war narratives during a recent halftime segment, and they threw in some very valid advice for current players in "their" league.

The WNBA's problem is bigger than outside voices entering the conversation. From the long-running “jealousy” framing around Caitlin Clark to the way controversies get amplified beyond basketball, the WNBA has often allowed harmful storylines to grow without a clear, consistent response.

This is not about avoiding difficult conversations. It is about protecting players, centering basketball, and refusing to let the league become ammunition for people who do not genuinely cover or support women’s basketball.
