Tim Tayshun has been in Bitcoin for a long time... and has so many stories to tell. He is the producer and content creator of Bitcoin Video Magazine and is on a mission to orange pill the world and educate fellow plebs.

Just like a crazy fool, he bought his first bit of bitcoin on April Fool's Day of 2013, attended his first meetup a year later, and studied everything available about Bitcoin at the time. He started putting out the first Bitcoin ATMS in California and attended his first Bitcoin conference, The North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, in January 2015.

He closely followed the PayCoin saga and became intimately aware of the scams growing at this time, including the OneCoin ponzi scam. His work garnered a lot of attention, even getting sued in federal court by OneCoin operatives and receiving death threats. While this all sounds wild, this is just the beginning, fellow bitcoiners. He is now working on Bitcoin Video Magazine which recently released its Genesis Issue last month.

Uncle Rockstar is one of the original Bitcoin OGs who never fell down the fiat offramps. He always stands with and for the people, working hard to protecting individual human rights and privacy. He is what I would call a pure Bitcoiner, educating people positively without being a toxic bitcoin maxi. Rather, he makes Bitcoin simple but not soft, he dunks on fiat thinking, scams, and shitcoins, but with a good heart. He encourages sovereignty, discipline, and conviction.

He is perhaps one of the brightest developers in the Bitcoin space, having helped Jack Mallers build Strike and also built BTC Pay Server with Nicolas Dorier. He continues to take care of all his nephews and nieces, which grows steadily with every podcast he does.

In 2006, the Reserve Bank recalled their previous notes in exchange for new notes with three zeros slashed from the currency. In 2007, the Zimbabwean government declared inflation illegal. Anyone who raised the prices for goods and services was subject to arrest. This amounted to a price freeze, historically shown to be ineffective in halting inflation. At this time, Gideon Gono earned a PhD in Strategic Management from the Atlantic International University in Honolulu, HI. In 2008, Gideon Gono announced a new Zimbabwean dollar, this time with 10 more zeros removed. The Z$10 billion would be redenominated to be Z$1. This move was not just to slow inflation but also to make transaction computations manageable. In 2009, the Reserve Bank dropped 12 more zeros from the currency. This new Z$ was thus worth 10 trillion trillion original Z$. In late 2009, the government abandoned printing Zimbabwean dollars and now relies on the inflationary United States Dollar for more stable monetary reference.

I met Jerry at the Bitcoin Veterans Summit last fall, which was at Bitcoin Park on Veterans Day. It was quickly apparent to me that he's thought a ton about entropy and wallet construction, and many things related to operational security.
