First month of Market Pro for 50% off https://bitcoinandmarkets.com/pro50
Today's episode was recorded Monday, February 13th, prior to the CPI drop on the 14th. I think the conversation is still valuable to learn how to think about CPI and these monthly rituals we go through. I get into how to think about prices in a deglobalizing world.
The last topic of the show today is the crackdown on Binance USD and Paxos by the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). Enjoy.

In today's episode, we listen to an interview on CNBC with SEC Chairman Gary Gensler about their enforcement action against Kraken. It has really caused a lot of waves in the bitcoin ecosystem, almost completely contained to the scam coin side of the house.
Next, I dive into a few numbers out of China regarding their credit creation in December. It was huge. They have resorted to pumping up their economy with MASSIVE credit injections, dictated straight from the central Communist Party. Enjoy.

In today's episode, I read through a couple articles. The first one is on the oil market and the HUGE inventory builds we have been seeing over the past several weeks. The second half of the episode is catching up on the progress on CBDCs, this time from the UK. Enjoy.

In today's episode, I react to Powell's interview at the Economic Club of Washington D.C. Many people were wondering if Powell's tone was going to change since the week before's FOMC press conference, given the Jobs Report came out and showed major tightening of the jobs market.
After I react to that interview, I read through a story about lending in the US is falling off a cliff. Tightening lending standards mixed with crashing demand for loans. Enjoy.

In today's episode, since it was recorded on Monday, my newsletter day, I concentrated on a few stories I was writing about. The Live show was quite a bit longer, so make sure you join us on YT, Twitter, or Telegram.
The main topic is the Ordinal debate. This public conflict is blown way out of perportion, and reminds me a lot of the scaling conflict in 2016. I also cover some of the uncomfortable truths about bitcoin scaling and discuss who we might look at them in the future. Lastly, I quickly cover the China Spy Balloon story again. Not that big of a deal either, other than it shows globalization/international trust and cooperation is gone. Enjoy.

In today's episode, first, I go over a few things that my community is posting about over on Telegram. The main part of the show is a reaction to James Rickards' recent blog post about the Digital Dollar Project. He warns that "Biden Bucks" are only a month away. My detailed response lays out why he's VERY wrong, selling fear, and what is actually going on with a US Dollar CBDC. Enjoy.

Today's episode covers mainly my thesis on peak oil demand. Before we get into that though, we have a much deserved laugh listening a song written by @songadaymann on twitter. At the end of the episode, I respond to a question about CPI and read through an article attacking CPI's accuracy. I said it in the show, but I'll say it again here, I'm not defending the precise accuracy of CPI, only that it is generally correct and the best thing we have. Enjoy.

Today's episode is a wide ride. I start by giving a long introduction to my theories and process. I then cover the current macroeconomic situation through charts, like bitcoin, the S&P 500, oil and more. I compare commentary by Ray Dalio and Neil Howe on bitcoin and bitcoin arguments. Ray Dalio, who I don't agree with often, is sounding much smarter than Neil Howe on this topic. Lastly, I discuss at length my thoughts on culture versus technology using a twitter poll by Steven Lubka. Overall, this is a broad and fun show. Enjoy.

In today's episode, I once again take on Zoltan Pozsar in his latest short article for the Financial Times. It's filled with the same old dribble about magically supplanting a unique post-WWII globalized system led by Washington, with the same thing led by Beijing. Of course, this is silly.
I do believe that the internationalized era where almost every country sang Kumbaya together, gorged on productive credit, and grew rapidly is over. But it won't be replaced by the same thing only under a different hegemon. It is the era of credit based money that is ending. We will go back to a neutral commodity money, namely bitcoin. Enjoy.
