We are surrounded by people who will not, or cannot, be honest. The challenge for you is to start being honest all the time in order to start changing the world around you.

In the stoic mindset, this really means self-restraint or self-control. And most of us already know what that means. Or do we?

Truth does not evolve. By its nature and definition it is unchanging and objective. Our understanding of truth is subject to change as WE evolve.

It is simply the willingness to choose to do the right thing. Period. But...

You will never learn what you think you already know. That is the essence of wisdom.

Whenever you run into an obstacle on your way to your goals, be grateful! That obstacle is trying to get your attention so that you will learn what you need to learn on the way to success.

If we all just paused long enough to remember "You Like What You Like" there would be a lot less arguing and anger.

When you have a big decision to make, the best thing you can do is to find people you can trust to give you good advice, ask good questions, and help you see things from another perspective.
