Max, Adi and VaMu usher in the BGT which begins this week - two of them hiding behind a couch and sneaking a peek through the gaps between their fingers, while another predicts a winning result for India. Also, wibblage on Kamindu, the extinction of the Sachin-era bowler (#SoLongSouthee) and Alzarri's comedy rage.

India began their series against New Zealand with a 3-0 scoreline predicted. As expected, the scoreline read 1-0 after the first Test, at which point experts predicted a 2-1 result. That prediction didn't change after the result of the second Test. However, at the end of three Tests, we got exactly what we originally predicted - a 3-0 result.
If the above paragraph made no sense, wait till you listen to this podcast where Nitin, Chops, Iman and VaMu lose their marbles completely.
Let bygones be bygones, we look ahead to the IPL auctions, and to the BGT (Bavuma-Ganguly Trophy).

India's 12 year undefeated home reign comes to a shuddering, shattering, sobering, Santner-ing end against post-Apocalyptic Williamson-less New Zealand, who expose every chink in India's set-up. Meanwhile. Pakistan do what only Pakistan can, to come back from nowhere, with a meme XI to beat England. All in all, just another regular week in cricket, where the most unusual happening may be that Bits and Pieces, for a change, has not ripped into R Ashwin. Tune in as we process shock and grief.

In a week in which New Zealand reigned supreme, Prashant, Chops, Iman and Tony train their sights on everything mockable in the world of cricket. No prizes for guessing who makes it to the list.

Tony Sebastian makes a timely return to the podcast to share his euphoria over Sanju Samson's record-breaking 100 as India bury Bangladesh under an avalanche of sixes. Max, MuSa and VaMu complete the panel, as England mete the exact same treatment to a hapless Pakistan in Multan.

India play GauBall in Kanpur to defeat the rain, crap ground conditions, distraction in the form of the strangest ever set of IPL retention rules and hapless Bangladesh. Sri Lanka face no qualms against an inept New Zealand, but manage to overcome a vicious in-person Bits and Pieces jinx to wrap up the Galle series 2-0. Max, Chops, PDP and Nitin join the pod to relive it all, while taking our usual potshots at Ashwin...
Video viewers, do check out the dispatches from the Galle fort where Bro Tareque, PDP and Nitin enjoyed great gelato, vibes and Kamindu at his best.

In a week where he generated runs, wickets and sound-bytes like only he can, Bits and Pieces turns its focus fully on its favourite muse. It's an Ashwin bonanza on the pod, following his allround awesomeness against Bangladesh in Chennai. Max tries to keep it civil, but there's only so much he can manage in PGK's absence, as Chops, PDP and Nitin do what this podcast is best known for.

PGK, Adi, Murali and Nitin bring you Episode 139, which is a post-mortem of Pakistan's worst series, Rahul Dravid's ascension to Rajasthan coaching, Duleep Trophy updates, some rare bits of Bangladesh appreciation, not-so-rare bits of Ashwin apprehension, and funnies from the week in the lives of Pant and Rohit. Tune in to find out who makes up the best quizzing team in the IPL.
Max, Tony and Nitin bring to you Episode 138 of Bits and Pieces, covering uncoverable cricket from Pakistan (which was not televised), at uncoverable grounds in Canada (that had soaked, zigzag outfields), and other things that did not happen - such as Sanju Samson's transfer to Chennai Super Kings. Stay tuned to learn about the vagaries of Duke's balls, Shreyas Iyer's satirical sartorial sense, and filmic philanthropic nonsense, Jay Shah's ascension to cricket's (second) biggest job and much more.
