  • Toxic Clients And What To Do With Them

Some clients are just not worth having…

What can you do about it?

What SHOULD you do about it?

If you get a sinking feeling or a feeling of dread when certain people join your free webinar, or email, DM or call, it could be an indicator that this is a client (or potential client) that you’d be better off without...

  • Pricing | How To Price Yourself

Pricing and How To Price Yourself

Pricing, like it or not, is often closely associated with Quality.

You are not a commodity! It’s important never to underprice - or undervalue - yourself. Price for value, not time…

Also, particularly at the higher levels, you are being paid for your knowledge and experience, not your time: it’s not about knowing how to use a hammer - it’s about knowing exactly where to strike!

If you've got something to say on this subject, please get in touch! We'd love to have you on the show.

  • Three Top Tips (each) for 2023

What could give your 2023 an extra boost?

We thought it would be interesting to prepare three each - separately - and see if we duplicated ideas - turned out they were all different!

    Ayo:

    1. Dream big!
    2. Get things DONE!
    3. Reflect. Think about what you stop, start and continue.

    Christopher:

    1. Make time for yourself.
    2. Be accountable.
    3. Try new things.

    See you on the inside!

  • Three Learnings (each) from 2022

In this episode we explore three learnings (each) from 2022.

We did it without agreeing beforehand what our individual three would be - thought it would be interesting to see if we came up with similar or completely different ones. Turned out it was a blend - we had one that resonated.

Looking back on the year is a terrific way of capitalising on what you have learned and thinking ahead about what you'd like to reflect on this time next year. Try it and let us know what YOU come up with! These were ours:

    Christopher:

    1. Needs change: keep checking on product/market fit.
    2. Persistent repetition gets results: leverage the aggregation of marginal gains.
    3. Ask! People are usually willing to help (if you ask in the right way.)

    Ayo:

    1. Practice Extreme Ownership: take responsibility for everything (but not necessarily the blame).
    2. Don’t worry about other people (what they think)
    3. Plan in detail - if you have a plan, you can change if you need to.

  • Easily Distracted

    Our first full episode! Woo!

We got chatting about distractions... shiny object syndrome...
Distraction is not always bad - it can be a source of inspiration.

We talked about some great books:
    - The One Thing (Gary Keller)
    - Deep Work (Cal Newport)

...and techniques such as "Pomodoro" - all very useful for getting things done in a focused way.
