With any good effort or initiative, first you need to build it and then you have to get it out there: Boost it far and wide.
It sends a message that we need more of this, and we need positive messages more than ever, coming out of 2020 and as we continue to navigate the pandemic.
I'm dropping this new podcast series to boost the efforts of people and businesses working toward a better, more inclusive, and connected society. Whether entrepreneurs, kids, or small or large companies, we can all learn from efforts to pivot to the positive in 2021 and beyond.
Ainka Jess founded She's4Sports to highlight the stories of hundreds of diverse women in sports after hearing from peers and people in the industry that they weren't comfortable talking about sports or simply were shut out of conversations. Many voiced that they didn't see themselves represented in the industry too.
Five years on, she's scored big for boosting the voices of women, girls, and diverse people in sports. Have a listen to her efforts to normalize a wider and more diverse narrative that brings in talented women and people in the sports industry from coaches to athletes.
Give us your thoughts on ways to boost women in sports or their voices in the media and other arenas.

It's 2020 and already we're clearly in post-normal times. How can a biz or professional handle all this uncertainty?
In this Biz Story Scoop episode by BizAngle Media, I speak with futurist John Sweeney, asst. prof at Narxoz University in Kazakhstan, about how to transcend or ride ambiguity like a wave or better yet as he says "surf the tsunami." He advises organizations and companies on how to explore foresight, especially through the use of games and simulations.
Hear how John suggests tips to navigate uncertainty in this world (that seems recently like Jamiroquai's song "Virtual Insanity" in my opinion). Here's a link to John's tip sheet and mine on working from home with greater ease.

According to Donna Dupont, a futurist and chief strategist at Purple Compass, people should take more time to sense their surroundings as a first step to shaping their future.
In this Biz Story Scoop episode, Donna expands on her views as an essayist in the new book "After Shock," a collection of more than 100 leading futurists and their thoughts on Alvin and Heidi Toffler's influential tome "Future Shock."
She encourages people to explore possible future operating environments, not just the narrow lens of the past or reactions to the immediate. Listen to her explain how health care officials are using futurist thinking with the novel coronavirus.
Now, get a pen ready to take up her 3 TIPS to help you be more adaptive to an ever-changing, fast-driving future.
