  • From Brick & Mortar to a Successful Online Business with Stacy Tuschl of She Builds Her Empire

As someone who has run a local business for almost a decade and then grown a successful online business, I’ve been curious to get inside the head of Stacy Tuschl, entrepreneur, mom, business coach and strategist and overall DRIVEN biz woman!  Fifteen years ago, Stacy began a dance competition studio in her parents back yard because she thought it would be fun.  After 3 years, she had 100 people showing up weekly and she realized that she should take her hobby and officially turn it into a business!  Now that business is a million dollar company and she does very little to make it work on a daily basis.

Which is why over a year ago, she launched her online business that provides coaching and education to women who are just as serious as she is about building their empires.

During this wonderful interview, Stacy shares how she was able to take a hobby and turn it into a highly profitable business and why investing in mentors and coaches early on has seriously paid off for her!  She also talks about how she was able to turn “let me pick your brain” sessions into paying clients and how she priced that.  We also talk about the benefits of focusing on high end clients and how to structure your time and priorities (and how to delegate to leverage others time!) so your business can grow exponentially!

  • Lessons From the Emergency Room

We came into the Emergency Room with my daughter on Sunday, knowing something was seriously wrong with her.

Four days and 3 night later, we’re sitting at the precipice of a discharge, going home with good news.

If you have ever been in the hospital with someone you love, you know that it is a vortex...normal life doesn't exist here and time works completely differently than it does in the outside world.

Which is why since Sunday, I have been understandably unplugged from my normal business workings. I've had to reschedule with clients, podcast guests, podcast interviews (so grateful for the grace and understanding of each of these ladies!) and have overall been absent on social media.

Always one to want to share lessons, I thought long and hard about what I could possibly share with you about this experience that would actually be meaningful to you.

I could talk about the power of delegating…

...because with just a few messages and Voxers, I was able to give my team what they needed to make sure Biz Women Rock was still moving while I was tending to my daughter.

I could talk about how vital great systems are to run a successful business…

...because oh my goodness, is a hospital a ripe case study for old school and new school systems! Some that are high tech and mitigate errors (an ankle bracelet that had a barcode and QR code that they would scan anytime they took her blood pressure, did a test or conducted an exam like an MRI). And some that are really old and probably have a reason for still being used, but to the trained eye of an on-demand consumer, are obviously in need of updating (we seriously have to wait for the Doc to tell us test results in person? How about immediate communication via an online video conferencing platform so we can get results asap instead of waiting until she's here again tomorrow?).

I could talk about the power of niching…

...because coming to a children's hospital instead of a general ER and hospital made such a huge difference! They specialize and therefore our experience was so much richer than it would have been otherwise. They had a play room where we spent a ton of time, an awesome red wagon that Sedona loooooved riding in, a playground we could go to in the courtyard and most importantly, doctors, nurses and care staff who deal with babies and kids all day every day.

I could talk about the power of FOCUS…

...because there ain’t nothing like a health emergency that will make you massively shift your priorities in a millisecond.  All of a sudden, I knew exactly what the most important actions were, knew exactly how I needed to spend my time, knew exactly what I needed to do to and did it.  No hesitation.  No drama.  Just action.  (By the way, if FOCUS is something you need in your biz right now, check out the Make It Happen Mastermind HERE → http://bizwomenrock.com/mastermind)

But I'm not going to talk about any of those practicalities.

I'm going to share with you about the EMOTIONAL JOURNEY of the past few days.

Because all the achievements, to-do’s, goals, systems and strategies in business happen on top of this thing called your EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (“the capability of individuals to recognize their own and other people's emotions, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and manage and/or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one's goal(s)” according to Wikipedia).

And it hit me at 4am this morning, as I was was holding back tears as my daughter cried while they took blood from her one...last...time...that this entire journey of entrepreneurship forces us to uplevel our Emotional Intelligence BIG TIME.  That, just like a medical emergency, it puts situations in our face that will test us and that we have to deal with.  And we’ll either fail to rise to that test (ex: lose my shit with the girl who kept coming in and waking my daughter up to take her temp and blood pressure!) or we succeed with flying colors and oftentimes surprise ourselves by how mature we actually handle things (ex: not letting myself get overly fearful and worked up about anything I was speculating could be wrong with her).

But the point is that we face so many situations that call our emotional intelligence into play and it’s VITAL that we honor this and take the time to work on it and not just the practical strategies of business.

So many times during my 1on1 strategy sessions with clients, emotional stuff will come up that requires attention in order for forward progress to be made.

Last week’s podcast episode is a perfect example of this...I featured Biz Women Rock member, Allie Weitzel during a Live Coaching session and while we were working on her time management strategies, it became apparent that she was beating herself up and having a lot of negative emotions around the fact that she had just gone through a major blow in her business and was having trouble recovering quickly.  It showed up in the practicalities of her not being able to get everything done she needed to get done, but the root of it was this negative emotion that was keeping her frozen and unproductive.  And if this emotion wouldn’t have been dealt with, then no amount of strategizing could fix things!

WHAT EMOTIONS ARE UNDERNEATH YOUR ACTIONS (OR INACTIONS) RIGHT NOW?

As a brief exercise, I’m sharing with you a quick list of the common emotions that so often come up in business and that definitely came up for me in the hospital.  My hope is that you’ll take a look through them and ask yourself if you’re feeling any of them right now.  And, if you are, take some time to journal about it...perhaps you’ll uncover why you’re having that emotion and can deal with it head-on.  And, when you do, I promise you, you’ll be surprised by how quickly things snap back into place in your business!

    FEAR:

By far the most common - and often hidden - emotion in business!  Fear can look like…

I’m afraid I won’t make the money I need to make

I’m afraid I’ll look stupid trying to sell my products/service

I’m afraid I’m not as good as “she” is

I’m afraid I’m not good enough

    I’m afraid I’ll fail

I’m afraid my clients won’t be satisfied

I’m afraid I’ll make that painful mistake again

The tricky thing about fear is that it often isn’t obvious to us until we really do some digging.  Some triggers to know if fear is really what is underneath everything could be…

You keep putting off launching something (and have perfectly good excuses as to why)

You refuse to hire help even though you desperately need it

You are stop and go with your marketing because you want to do it “perfectly”

You are not doing something you know you need to do in your biz (creating a funnel, investing in a program, coaching or a mastermind, growing into a new market, etc)

You are “in a rut” and can’t get out

If you’re nodding your head at any of these, take some time to write in your journal about it and see where fear may be the root of what’s holding you back in your biz!

    ANGER:

Especially if you’re someone like me who really enjoys being positive and friendly, it may feel strange to be really ANGRY.  Which means that you may not want to identify it if it’s there.  A few weeks ago, I kept blowing up at my husband (poor guy).  Yelling at him for the tiniest little things and even silently judging and cursing at him if he wasn’t doing exactly what I would want him to do.  I was also getting SO frustrated so easily with everything I was attempting to do in my biz.  If I couldn’t get an email out as fast as I wanted, I would blow up.  If I didn’t have my entire program fill up the moment I started marketing, I was livid.  If I didn’t get everything done I really wanted to, I was filled with anger.  I was ridiculously uncomfortable with this anger and I finally realized it was stunting everything for me.  So, I went to my journal and just started writing “I’m angry because…” and wrote 8 pages of all the things that pissed me off.  This process allowed me a safe space to BE ANGRY and have it be okay.  It also took the sting out of all those things because I was able to get it out of me.  And, ultimately, it helped give me clarity on what was actually going on (there were 2 or 3 things I actually was legitimately angry about) and it gave me an opportunity to deal with them.  And because of this exercise, I stopped yelling at my hubs and gave him a giant apology ;).  (Have I mentioned he’s a big fan of me journaling? lol!).

So, is there something you’re angry about?  Take a good look at it and spend some time letting yourself be angry.  Watch how doing that allows everything else to move right back into its groove.

    OVERWHELM:

Okay, so this isn’t a legitimate “feeling,” but it is something that so many biz women feel very often that can negatively impact our growth, so I believe it’s worth noting.  Overwhelm comes when there’s too much in front of us.  Too much opportunity.  Too much to do.  Too much responsibility.  Too much information.

It freezes us.  It stops us.  And generally speaking, it spirals us down into feeling isolated, depressed and disheartened.

And our business suffers big time.

I had to work really hard at staying out of overwhelm while we were in the hospital.  Every time they ran a test, new results would come back that would take us in a different direction with a new set of possible reasons we were here in the first place.  My mind quickly wanted to skip ahead into the possible diagnoses, which would flood my mind with statistics, solutions and causes that would immediately got my heart beating fast while worry and stress took over.  It was too much and I had to quickly reel myself back into the moment.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, here are a few hacks to get out of it fast.

    1. Talk to someone.  Download what’s going on in your mind onto a trusted friend, colleague or family member.  The act of talking it out will help you make sense of everything and deflate the feeling of pressure from your thoughts.

    1. Journal.  Write down what you’re feeling and why you’re overwhelmed.  It will give you that same sense of relief as talking to someone.

    1. Write down your #1 priority.  Ask yourself what is the ONE THING that is most important for you to do and write it down.  Nothing else.  And then go to work getting that one thing done.  That’s it.

    1. Write a brain dump of the to-do’s in your head.  I’m not a huge advocate of a giant “to-do list,” but sometimes, getting all those thoughts or ideas or action items down on paper helps you feel like you’ve gotten ahold of them and it’s a great starting point for you to then prioritize your activities.

    1. Be present and focus on the next best step.  Stop thinking about the big picture and be present in the moment.  Just focus on the next thing you need to think about.  That’s it.

    JOY:

Holding my baby girl when we walked into our house for the first time in 4 days so I could put her in her own bed for a restful nap...that was pure joy!

Getting the first person to commit to the Make It Happen Mastermind and squealing in delight because I knew it was exactly what she has been craving to help her achieve her goals...that was incredibly joyful!

Helping a client during a strategy session create a business model that made perfect sense for everything she’s been building...total joy!

Getting on a Facebook Live and talking back and forth with you...pure joy!

We feel JOY a LOT.  Yet, as a direct contrast to these other emotions, we tend to let the feeling come up and then quickly move on, not giving joy the full amount of attention it deserves.

The most important thing to understand about the emotion of JOY is that it is the fountain of youth for your business!  It keeps you young and vibrant and excited about your mission.  The more you feel it, the more refreshed energy you bring to your tasks, the more positivity you bring to your day, the more creativity and inspiration surround you!

So, your job is to recognize joy, accentuate it and create MORE of it!

How have you felt joy in your business lately?  My guess is that if you make a list of all the moments of joy, you’ll be surprised by how many things you write down.  It may be a great way to get into a place of gratitude that will fuel your business into the stratosphere!!!

There is no escaping the emotions that are the foundation of our entire business workings.  And if we try...if we try to ignore fear or anger or overwhelm or joy and just work on strategy, then we’ve done ourselves and our business a giant disservice.

It’s only when we understand that this entire business journey is one with our emotional and personal development that we can start to really make some massive moves towards our visions!

PS: The above post was written the day we got home from the hospital.  I’m happy to share that my daughter is doing GREAT and playing around like the energetic toddler she is!  Thank you SO MUCH for your thoughts and prayers and good energies sent our way!

  • LIVE COACHING: How to Get Focused After Being in a Rut and How to Properly Sell "One Stop Shop" Services with Allie Weitzel

Allie Weitzel has been an active member of the Biz Women Rock community for awhile now, so I was SUPER excited to have the opportunity to strategize with her!  She owns a company called Summit Business Team which provides small businesses with full service accounting, payroll, bookkeeping and strategic financial growth services!  Allie has had tremendous growth and has doubled her business in the past year!

During our call, I help Allie get clarity on two separate issues:

    1. How do I succinctly communicate to potential clients what I do?  (i.e. I’m a “one stop shop and I help everyone!”).  This turned into an understanding of how to not overwhelm her clients with her every single service they offer, but how to instead strategically have successful “discovery sessions” or conversation so she can properly point them in the direction of the packages that would service each client the best!

    1. How can I better manage my time?  I’m so unfocused and can’t seem to get my sh*t together!  During our conversation, I discover that Allie is in a “funk” and can’t seem to get herself out.  So, we talk openly about this and talk about very smart and strategic things she can do to get BACK into flow where she can be productive and happy again!  If you’ve ever been in a funk or unfocused or just not in flow, this is the conversation to listen to!

  • Inside the Business Brain of a Half a Million Dollar Company with Hilary Hendershott of Profit Boss Radio

Usually, I like to pick a particular angle or lens with which I’m interviewing my guests because I know they have a particular area of expertise that will benefit you.  But there are so many areas of business that Hilary Hendershott does right that I knew giving you a general insight into how her business brain works would be the most helpful!  Hilary worked in her father’s financial planning business for 13 years before she decided to open her own company.  And in just 3 years, Hilary Hendershott Financial has become a high six figure business, expected to earn $500,000 in revenue by the end of 2017.  During this incredible interview, Hilary shares why she started her own company instead of simply taking over her father’s business, the biggest mistake she made in her first year of business and her specific process on how she hires right and successfully manages a virtual team.

In addition, we talk about the huge impact launching her podcast Profit Boss Radio has made in her business - not just in listeners turning into clients, but in her overall personal brand as an expert in her field -> “I believe what the podcast does is scale TRUST.”

This interview will give you a deep insight into the person that Hilary IS, which will explain why her business has had such tremendous growth in such a short period of time!

LIVE COACHING: Creating an Effective Marketing Plan with Heather Robertson-Devine of Books Del Sur

I've had the privilege of coaching and strategizing with Heather Robertson-Devine for months now.  She is incredible and owns Books Del Sur, a company that imports authentic Spanish children's books into the US and makes them available to dual language classrooms all throughout the country.  As a whole, what makes her business so unique is the fact that these books are not just "Little Red Riding Hood" translated into Spanish, but books that are created and written in Spanish-speaking countries and then made available in Elementary school classrooms here in the US so kids can learn authentic Spanish stories.

During this LIVE COACHING session, Heather and I are diving deep into creating a powerful and practical marketing strategy for her ANTI-PRINCESSA series...3 books that each feature a powerful Latin woman - Frida Khalo, Violeta Parra and Juana Azurduy.  She's realized that these particular books have appeal to a wider audience...people like you and me who want to buy these books for our own families or as gifts for our friends and their kids.  And because the end-user market requires a very different marketing strategy, we're using this time to create one!

    * why telling your STORY is the perfect way to enrapture your audience (and what that story must have in order to connect)

    * what the OFFER is (nope...this is definitely not what you think!)

    * how you ideally structure the BODY of your presentation so you are teaching, but not over-teaching

Most of the questions I receive from the amazing women of the Biz Women Rock community can be distilled down to this one question:

How do I make more money?

My answer: Get more clients/customers to pay for your product or services.

How to I get more clients/customers?

My answer: First step: build a community of individuals who know, LOVE and trust you!

How do I grow my community? (or “build my following?”)

My answer: Do any ONE of these 7 things today!

    1. Ask Your Current Community Members to Share

This simple call to action is so often overlooked! Get onto the platforms you currently have – your Facebook Group, your email list, your Instagram profile, your podcast, your blog, your YouTube channel – and ask your community members to share about you! This can sound like…

[Podcast] “If you loved this episode and got value out of it, I would appreciate you sharing it with one other person who you think would benefit from it!”

[Facebook Group] “Hey ladies! I am loving these conversations in here! If you know of other amazing business women who would benefit from being a part of this incredible group, go invite them to join! Just give them this link! Together, we can ROCK the world!”

[Blog] “If you enjoyed this article, go ahead and share it with others who would benefit!”

Get the idea? Those who love you and are already a part of your community are super happy to share about you…they just need reminding every now and again and to be given an EASY way to do it!

    2. Pitch Yourself to Be a Guest on a Podcast

As a podcaster, I have an inside view on how POWERFUL this medium is for visibility! You don’t have to be a podcaster to be featured on other podcasts. Just work backwards…what podcasts are out there that attract your ideal avatar? Do you happen to have any connections with any of those hosts? If yes, go ask them if they’re open to new guests on their show and that you’d love the opportunity to provide value to their audience. If not, start sending some emails and messages to pitch the hosts. (extra resource: my good friend Jessica Rhodes of Interview Connections has some great info on how to pitch to get yesses! http://www.interviewconnections.com/).

And think outside the box…I was just a guest on my good friend Diane Daniels’ podcast Weight Loss Nation (http://theweightlossnation.com), sharing my story of overcoming food addiction and how I achieve ultimate health and fitness happiness. It’s totally not my usual topic of conversation and doesn’t really have anything to do directly with business (my normal “zone of genius”), but a) I really felt like my story could be valuable to her community and b) there may be high driving business women who are listening! As my friend Danny Peña of Gamertag Radio says, “you never know who’s listening!”

    3. Write a Killer Email/Blog Post and Post It On Social Media

Visibility is important…marketing is the lifeblood of your business. But CONTENT IS STILL KING. Meaning, you can shout all you want into the world, but if you don’t have good content for others to read, listen to or watch when their eyes point your way, all of it is for nothing. So, take some time to write a fantastic email and blog post (by the way…efficiency tip…one can always be turned into the other). Send it out and share it on social media. If you mention others in it, tag them to bring them into to conversation! Maybe even tap on the shoulders of a few community members to have them share it (go back to #1!).

    4. Personally Share Relevant Content With Individuals Who Would Benefit

When you write an awesome blog post or create a great podcast episode or upload a cool YouTube video, personally reach out to a few people who you know would directly benefit from it. Maybe someone in your community just posted in your group about a challenge they’re having and your content addresses that issue. Reach out and share it with them, letting them know you thought it would be helpful in light of their recent post.

    5. Reach Out to a Media Source in Your Niche and Offer Yourself as a Resource

Think of 2-3 media sources in your niche who attract your ideal avatar. Reach out to them and offer yourself as a resource. Maybe that means offering to write helpful blog posts or talking to them about offering your podcast or YouTube channel as a regular resource for their readers. Maybe that means bringing them onto YOUR platform so you can give them exposure. This is a strategic ways to get a lot of eyes on you!

    6. Do a Facebook LIVE!

Think of the top 3 questions your avatar asks you all the time. Answer each of these 3 questions and boom! You’ve got yourself a 3 part Facebook Live series! Get in front of the camera and share your knowledge! Do this from your Facebook Page and/or your personal Facebook profile because when you do, people will watch and share! Facebook Live tips: 1) write in the copy of the Facebook Live what the video is all about…I’m not going to watch your video if I can’t see what it’s about and whether it’s relevant to me or not. 2) Write AND SAY a call to action! Give people a link so they can find out more about you or get access to something that you’re talking about! If not a link, tell them to comment or sent you a direct message! 3) Do NOT hesitate to get in front of the camera. Still sweaty from a workout? Hair all messy? No makeup? Who cares! Get over it and press record…your community WANTS to see you REAL. (I know my good friend Dana Goldstein of Chic Flicks would agree - http://chicflicks.com).

    7. Connect With Those Who Follow Other Influencers in Your Niche (ie. your ideal avatar)

Go into Instagram (or Twitter or Facebook or LinkedIn…whatever you like). Go follow someone else who is an influencer in your industry. Someone else who has a brand that attracts your ideal avatar. Then, check out who follows THEM. Go down the list and start following those who look like they would also love your brand.

Note: While this may seem a little “smarmy,” it’s not. Not as long as you are simply CONNECTING with these folks…not directly spamming them. Not putting them on a list and then sending crap to them they never asked for. All you’re doing is strategically opening up the opportunity to get to know them better on social media!

  • The Truth Behind the Pull of the Mompreneur with Denise Duffield-Thomas of Lucky Bitch

I promise you, you will feel like you’re sitting down with Denise and I during this incredibly REAL (and explicit...raw language included) conversation about her experience as a Mompreneur.  Denise is the creator of Lucky Bitch, a company that provides education and support to women who want to break through their money blocks and experience financial abundance in their lives.  Since I interviewed her back in 2014, a lot has changed for Denise!  She now has two kids, Willow (3) and George (1) and her business has shot into the stratosphere of success.  I deliberately wanted to have her on to discuss how she’s achieved such great success while having a baby and a toddler!  During the interview, Denise talks very openly and honestly about how she prepared her mind to knowing that she could totally ROCK at both entrepreneur and mom before she even had kids.  We also get into an impassioned conversation about the pull that many of us mompreneurs feel when we really LOVE our work and want to work a lot AND we want to be a great mom and spend time with our kids.  We discuss the roles our spouses play in our abilities to be amazing mompreneurs and we both talk openly about how the conversations we’ve had with our husbands.  Then of course we touch upon outsourcing, dealing with limiting beliefs, and Denise’s belief (and mine too) that when we raise up women around the world, we can make BIG changes on a global scale!

This is totally real, girl...so enjoy!

  • 4 Ways the Mompreneur Series Changed How I Approach My Business and My Daughter

4 Ways the Mompreneur Series Changed How I Approach My Business & My Daughter + Stories from You!

This episode is concluding our Mompreneur Series! (Except for the BONUS episode with Denise Duffield-Thomas who will be my guest next week...mompreneur scheduling ;)). I'm so excited to share with you the 4 (+ 1 bonus) ways this series has directly impacted how I show up to my business and my daughter. And, the last half of the show features incredible mompreneur stories from your fellow Biz WomenRock community members! I promise you, you will be touched!

    1. My life as a mom and my life as an entrepreneur are not separate. They are, in fact, two different elements of my life that are part of the whole. Just like my right arm and my left arm are two separate body parts, but still work in tandem with each other and are vital parts of my entire body. And this is not how I’ve been approaching mompreneurship. I’ve been so proud of the fact that I’m “100% present” when it’s mommy time and “100% present” when it’s business time. And while that’s a good practice to be present in the moments and most definitely time needs to be managed so I can put my energy into the two well, the overall life I lead does not separate these two things. So, my lesson has been to let these two bleed more into each other. To talk about business with Sedona around, to do some work even (gasp!) at times if I really need to, to chill the hell out when I’m at a business meeting with her and just have the conversations I can have...not to get all pissy because I “can’t be business woman and mommy at the same time.” This also allows Sedona to SEE her mommy work! This was a BIG, big lesson for me!

    2. The pursuit of time management mastery is a necessary endeavor. Work/life balance is a myth, so I prefer to focus on time management - how am I proactively creating the schedule that best suits my life and what do I have in place to optimize every single minute of the day? The big lesson here is that there is no such thing as MASTERY of time management. What was incredibly clear was that every single woman I interviewed put a lot of time and effort into managing their time wisely. They had to in order to give attention to all the things they deem as important. However, things NEVER go 100% according to plan. And so they understood that time management was never going to be mastered. They did their best and then adjusted as needed.

    3. Organizing one’s life is a must. And the tools and manner of organization are always evolving. During this series, I had a serious realization that my methods of organizing no longer work for me. After a few weeks of feeling in a cloud of chaos, I finally got a planner, a white board calendar and re-vamped the way I organize myself every day. Managing a toddler, a romantic relationship with my husband, general life “things” and a growing business requires serious organization!

    4. Your mindset will determine the path you travel. One of my favorite moments of this series was when Carissa Hill talked about how she simply decided she was going to have a seriously high earning and fast growth business AND spend ample time with her 6 month old. She does tons of things to train her mind that anything is possible. This resonated with me SO MUCH because I’ve put a lot of time and effort into mindset work. That being said, I’m gonna be honest about the fact that I have moments when I want to scream at the universe about how flippin’ CHALLENGING this path actually is. Times when I feel like I’m doing it all on my own. Times when I want to work, but I’ve dedicated that day to Sedona. Times when I want BIG THINGS to happen in my business now, but I know I don’t have enough work hours to complete it during the week. Times when I want to just give up the hard push of growth in my business because I am loving mommying so much. And honestly, these were the things I expected to commiserate with my fellow mompreneurs about during this series. But when Carissa talked about this constant mindset work, I realized that yes, these experiences of mine can be true, but ultimately MY MIND IS THE ONE IN CHARGE OF WHERE I GO. Whether I enjoy this journey and get the most out of every single moment or whether I struggle. So my lesson was knowing that I don’t want this to be a struggle. And so my mindset olympics continues.

BONUS: My daughter deserves the same kind of energy, planning and passion that my business gets! Maria Dismondy’s stories of how she organizes and plans out time with her kids was a huge eye opener for me. While I definitely do activities with Sedona during our mommy-daughter days and while I am absolutely proactive about what we do together, Maria’s descriptions of the cool stuff she does with her kids really opened my eyes to the disparity between the energy, focus and excitement with which I approach my business vs. time with my daughter. Sometimes it’s just easy to go on auto-pilot with Sedona or use our day as a “brain break” for me after going so hard in my business. But I realized that I can get just as excited and ready for fun stuff for me and Sedona to do that can take our time together to an entirely new level of fun, learning, growing and bonding. Since my interview with Maria, I’ve had two play dates with other mommies (I hadn’t had any this whole time!), created my own crafts corner, created a Summer Bucket List and have plans for baking cookies together soon.
