After a Saturday morning jiu-jitsu class, Mike Sahebi subs in for Chris Vu as co-host. Mike talks about his recent promotion to purple belt and how his game has developed since putting on the gi for the first time. Later, Zander pops in and steals the show -- showing off his sense of humor and his love of collar chokes.

On a Saturday after class, Chris and Noah are joined by fellow tribe member, Victor Padilla, who recently turned 21. To commemorate the occasion, Chris presents Victor with a very special, and potent bottle of beer. The three of them proceed to chat about a myriad of topics, including: the issues with onboarding new students, Victor's recent promotion to purple belt, what gyms they would like to visit, and why Chris missed promotions.

It's Monday night with Chris and Noah again. Noah opens the podcast fired up and rants about promotions and what they mean. Chris brings reason  and black belt experience to the conversation. Later, Noah confesses Keenan Cornelius's marketing prowess over the course of the past week succeeded in convincing him to purchase the infamous Lapel Encyclopedia. Chris asks Noah what lapel voodoo he's going to study first. Noah admits he's probably going to be an awful roll in the future because he's going to be wrapping various limbs in lapels.

To commemorate the 40th episode of BJJ and Brews, Noah insists that Chris recount his entire origin story with martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu. Chris covers his entire journey, from an 11 year old starting Tae Kwon Do to sparring Vale Tudo with college buddies to his first BJJ class with Marcio Simas to receiving black belt from Paul Rodriguez. While wrapping up the conversation, Noah and Chris end up discussing podcast distribution and PC gaming platforms.

Chris and Noah reunite on a Monday night to catch up on the past few weeks. Noah describes recent summer belt promotions from two days ago. Chris and Noah go over the recent UFC 251 card. Chris and Noah discuss the idea of making scorecards transparent during fights. Also, they talk about finger injuries and Chris mowing his lawn with a relic from the 1950s.

Alec Baulding joins the podcast over the phone for a one hour conversation.  Alec is a black belt in jiu-jitsu and competes in gi and no-gi events around the world. One of his noteworthy achievements was winning the 2018 ADCC East Coast Trials to qualify and compete in the ADCC championships in 2019. In addition, Alec also coaches jiu-jitsu and regularly publishes new instructional videos across his digital platforms. Over the course of the podcast, Alec talks about various topics, including: his training regime, his journey in Sweden, and his approach to coaching.

Fellow Tribe member, Nick Benincasa, joins Chris and Noah for most of the podcast. After explaining his introduction to martial arts and ATT Orlando, Nick talks about his growth in Jiu-Jitsu and his mentality towards training. Then, they all discuss a myriad of topics, both related and unrelated to Jiu-Jitsu. Just as the conversation appearing to be winding down, Chris and Noah end up touching on a very specific subject matter regarding the gym -- which results in the final 15 minutes being some of the funniest in BJJ and Brews history.
