The Bills opened their preseason with a 23-19 win over the Colts, but wins and losses don't matter much for exhibition games.
What does matter is how individual players with presumed regular season impact fare. Rookies were very much on the good side. O'Cyrus Torrence made an excellent debut in a full half at right guard. Dalton Kincaid was not targeted, but he did help make James Cook more of a threat (Cook was cooking himself).
On the flip side, Kyle Allen did little to dissuade the doubts that arose at training camp. Thad Brown and AJ Feldman can explain why Bills fans should not be concerned (just yet). They also discuss a giant message being sent in the battle for the second starting corner spot and an impressive return for Damar Hamlin. It's the 2023 season debut of Buffalo Gameday Recap.
The final day of Bills Camp at St. John Fisher was punctuated by what appeared a Kaiir Elam regression to a tactic that angered Stefon Diggs.
Thad Brown and Carl Jones can explain all that happened in a wild sequence that ended up with Diggs upset on the wrong sideline.
There was also a notable injury at camp on the final day. Plus, Sean McDermott pulling a practical jokes and we name our top performer of camp this year, based off the final Turkey Burger leaderboard.

They briefly break down the team's first depth chart and why you shouldn't look too much into it, then highlight some standout performances from Gabe Davis and Taron Johnson.
The Bills 10th practice of training camp was closed off to the public. However, the players still brought the juice and it was the most intense practice all training camp.
Thad Brown and Carl Jones discuss Sean McDermott's comments on the backup quarterback position and where it leaves the Bills long term. After practice, Leonard Floyd said that the Bills fit his skillset best due to the attacking nature of the defense.
Also, there were several highlight plays from the offense throughout practice including an one-handed snag from Dalton Kincaid with a defender draped all over him.
The big story was Jordan Phillips returning to the practice field after his offseason shoulder surgery, perhaps earlier than anyone expected. Christian Benford jolted back into the CB2 battle after making the most of his opportunity.

It was a heavy red zone and short yardage focus for the offense on Friday evening. Carl Jones and Thad Brown discuss what players stood out during the practice.
Damar Hamlin also made his return to Highmark Stadium. Carl and Thad speak on another milestone the Bills safety has achieved.
The Bills were back after a day off and Wednesday was Kaiir Elam's time to shine. The second-year corner got the majority of the first-team reps and made the most of them. Thad Brown and AJ Feldman discuss his stellar play and what it means going forward.
O'Cyrus Torrence continued to get plenty of run with the first time and it looks like it might be his job to lose. Meanwhile, not all second-year guys are excelling at camp as Khalil Shakir has been inconsistent.
Sean McDermott, Josh Allen, and Greg Rousseau took the podium today, Thad and AJ recap their comments as well as hand out some turkey burgers to some end-of-the-roster guys who made some plays on Wednesday.
For the first time all training camp, the Bills defense thoroughly outplayed the offense. There was a heavy dosage of pressure and blitzing that made Josh Allen and the offensive line uncomfortable.
Dion Dawkins spoke to the media after practice and gave his thoughts on the growth of Josh Allen both on and off the field. Defensive backs coach John Butler discussed the ongoing CB2 battle and the unique skillset each cornerback brings to the table.
Carl Jones and Thad Brown speak on the play of the defensive line and the possible reason why they dominated practice. The duo also speaks on the strong performances from Gabe Davis, Matt Milano, Cam Lewis, and Kingsley Jonathan.
