Shaun McAnuff is the co-founder of Original Flava. Together with his brother, they have been on a mission to make Caribbean food easy, accessible, and full of flavour for everyone.

They started out cooking in their nan’s kitchen, sharing family recipes online, and today they run multiple kitchen residencies, have written three No.1 bestselling Caribbean cookbooks, appear regularly on TV, and built a community of nearly 1 million followers online.

His successful career as a building control surveyor overseeing residential and commercial development derailed in his 30s when a period of depression led to self-medication with illicit substances, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
