We're 1/3 of the way through the hoops season and the takes are flying off the shelves. Fran McCaffery should be fired, the basketball season is lost, and Iowa State basketball has more momentum than Iowa football, some would say.

Well that's not what we attending The Pants Party believe. There's still a lot to learn from this basketball season, and while some of Fran's decisions might have created the current debacle, this is the most talented roster Iowa's had in quite some time.
