Episode 50: Lebron James and the NBA are at the center of a controversy involving China and Hong Kong. BasketBall Wives misses the mark on the discussion of colorism. These two hipsters also touch on Top Boy, Bad Girls Club and what exactly do you do with a 24 year old.

Episode 49: We discuss the movie Hustlers and the skill it takes to be a stripper. Azealia Banks attacks Lizzo and we agree she needs to take three seats! Cardi B takes on Access Hollywood. A 12 year old girl in Virginia comes clean after accusing three fellow white classmates of cutting off her locs and a young black man in Florida is sentenced to jail time because he slept through jury duty.

Episode 48: Your favorite hipsters discuss the elegant, graceful and fierce icon Diahann Carroll. We know our people had to be resourceful when faced with the lack of options in the beauty space years ago and though its much better, we still have a ways to go. And its no surprise we take on Chelsea Handler's latest documentary about white privilege.

Episode 47: We didn't think the Malik Yoba story would go away quickly and we definitely didn't expect it to turn ugly. One of our favorite 90's detectives storms out of an interview when questioned about recent allegations. We explore if he was in the wrong or if the journalist was a bit too aggressive. We've discussed appropriation numerous times but to our knowledge Shalwah is the first to brooch the topic of "casual appropriation." What does it mean? Does it really exists? We sure as hell believe it does!

Episode 46: If a White guy is wearing locs at a club and there are no Black people to call him out for it, does his appropriation make a sound? Can you really talk about appropriation in a "light" way? These hipsters will try. And we get into the differences between cultural appropriation, cultural appreciation, and plain ol' stupidity. Maybe there needs to be a quiz that one can take to know if they're an appropriator. We'll get started on it stat!

Episode 45: We meant to talk about Malik Yoba and his love for transgender women, and we do. But we spend a ton of time talking about the other shit. Stanley went to Drag Con, it was New York Fashion Week, Rihanna’s Diamond Ball took place, and the internet went crazy speculating about whether or not the singer's pregnant. Plus, could you make 90 percent of your purchases all Black by the end of next year? These hipsters will find out if they can make the commitment.

Episode 44: We're hoping we can move like Chilli when we're 48 years old! Our knees were protesting just watching the video but homegirl proves she still got it by killing a dance routine. Babies are undeniably adorable and precious but we all know they are not like that all the time! These hipsters discuss the possibilities of parenthood and Shalwah speaks on the Popeye's chicken sandwich--which Stanley has not yet had.

Episode 43: Dave Chappelle's latest standup is a YES for us, but of course it is not without controversy.  We delve into Michael Jackson, women, and our trans brothers and sisters. We also discuss Shalwah's recent trip to a conference in Miami (it goes without saying that our girl is resourceful).
