There's currently no shortage of struggle across the peoples' movements, many of which are dominating the mainstream news outlets. We want to highlight a critical struggle that is not making the headlines, and that is the fight for Black Liberation. This movement is alive and well in the US, and leaders like Kobi Guillory are on the front lines of resisting the racist Trump agenda, killers cops, and any opposition to the self-determination of Black people.
Kobi is the labor chair of the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, an executive committee member of the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, a member of the Central Committee of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, a union delegate and executive board member of the Chicago Teachers Union, and maybe the most demanding of all, a middle school teacher on the South Side of Chicago.
Anyone that will be in the Chicago area on April 18th should attend the Working Class Awards Dinner: Resisting Trump's Mass Deportations.
We invite all organizations to sign onto the following call, in defense of grad student Rick Toledo, pro-palestine student and member of Students for a Democratic Society, at California State Polytechnic University Humboldt.
