Black Quintessence

Sorry you guys about not putting up an episode last week. I was out celebrating San Francisco Pride. But I am back this week. In Current events, I discuss Lil Nas X coming out the closet on the last day of pride month and how extraordinary that is. Cori "Coco" Gauff winning her match against Serena Willams at Wimbledon, and singer Halle Bailey, not to be confused with Halle Berry, getting cast for the role of Ariel in the upcoming live action Disney movie The Little Mermaid and how white people are not pleased #whitetears. In my Topic of Discussion, I discuss Polygamy and how a lot more people are trying this avenue with relationships. 

In this week's current events, I discuss Rachel Dolezal tweeting how she is celebrating pride by coming out as bisexual, the FX hit series Pose being renewed for a third season, and Janet Mock making history as the first Transgender woman to establish a major studio deal with Netflix. In Topics of Discussion, I discuss music and its influence on people. Does music have enough impact on us that we can hold it accountable for our actions?

This week in current events, I discuss Tamar Braxton apologizing to her family, friends and loved ones and how love made he see the light. Mary J. Blige receiving her BET honors award and how Traces Ellis Ross is breathing new life into an upcoming Daria spinoff. in this weeks current events, I discuss The Boondocks possibly making a return to television, Dionne Warwick and her opinion on Beyonce and rapper Da Baby and his altercations. In Topic of Discussion, in honor of June being Pride month, I discuss what being a proud, gay black man means to me.

In this weeks current events, I discuss philanthropist Robert Smith pledging to clear the student debt of Morehouse College graduates, the black mother who told off, and rightfully so, a group of boys for bullying her daughter and the horrible murder of transgender woman Mulayshia Booker. In my topics of discussion, I talk about femininity in the gay culture, specially the gay black culture and how society reacts to it

Let me first start by apologizing for the mishap of this episode. I had to go back and correct some things with this episode. In current events I discuss the animated gay wedding of the character Mr. Ratburn in "Arthur' that had people in the uproar. Oh well. Steve Harvey losing both of his shows and being replace as well as Lee Daniels' shows, one being cancelled and the other getting ready for its final season. In topics of discussion, I discuss setting goals for ones self and ways to go about accomplishing those goals. 

This week I discuss the great accomplishment of a young man, the met gala fashions, and I discuss Ayesha Curry and wanting attention from other men, In "Topics of Discussion", the topic of discussing mental health issues is on the table.

This weeks episode, in current events I discuss the upcoming second part to the R. Kelly documentary, Russell Wilson giving back to his team and the passing of the legendary director John Singleton. In "Topics of Discussion, I discuss if you should change yourself to be with someone.

In the pilot episode, I discuss current events of the week. Brandy and Monica going on tour, Missy Elliot getting ready to drop a new album, and the young gay teen Nigel Shelby who committed suicide from homophobic bullying. I also discuss in my segment titled "Topic of Discussion", is bad sex a good enough reason to break up with your spouse?
