Bucharest-born and now London-based, Alex Gradinaru (Times Two) aims to showcase some of the formative sounds that have helped shape his teenage years and later journey throughout the UK. Alex crafts his sets with intent, spanning across a broad range of genres, including drum and bass, jungle, dubstep and UK bass music.

Dirk started DJing in 2004 at a community center on New Year's Eve, no joke. Since then, his taste in the music he plays has become very broad, ranging from Jazz, Soul and House to UK Bass, Techno and Drum and Bass.

There's plenty of inspiration here, there and everywhere.

We first heard him DJing at Loch , a jazz club in Wuppertal, only to bump into him a few nights later in a small neighborhood bistro, Café du Congo.

We got to chat, getting to know each other, played some Mancala, talked a lot about music and the new things in Wuppertal and one thing let to another, so here he is, joining the Black Rhino Radio station. Enjoy!

His journey through musical landscapes began in early childhood and evolved into a passion for DJing and music production in the early 2010s in Chișinău. Along the way, he steadily expanded his vinyl collection, carefully curating a selection of rare gems and timeless records that continue to shape his distinctive sound today.
