A24, I mean, what in the hell did you guys put on the screen in front of me with this Film! Men, directed by Alex Garland, follows a woman named Harper Marlow, who vacations to a countryside airbnb, to escape for a moment after her life is thrown into tragedy due to her husband's death. To only have Harper realize she is in an estranged environment ran by someone or something that is following her and terrorizing her due to these events.

In one of the most touching period pieces I've seen in a little while, and directed by a New yorker, of Puerto Rican heritage, and a personal favorite film music composer Lin Manuel Miranda. Today we are discussing TIK TIk Boom! Starring Andrew Garfiel, who is going through a very good acting renaissance for himself, gaining a strong support system from the fans, since his supporting role in No Way Home! Continuing to impress as he grows more as an actor and showing he is more then the “Amazing Spider-man” flops that Sony Produced. Tik Tik Boom follows the story of famed musical Playwright Jonathan Larson, and his struggles trying to breakthrough to Broadway with his first work Superbia in which he never got to develop, but would lead to his later success. This film is touching, and great, and honestly Best leading Role that Went to Will Smith, might’ve really should have gone to Andrew for his performance of Johnathan Larson.

One thing that I am a complete and utter fanboy for is a revenge story. I absolutely love a good revenge story. Alongside that I am a fan of all Viking style stories, stories of the Danes, the Berserkers, anything involving the pillaging times of the Danish settlers across the European continent, Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Vinland saga, I could go on and on. and in terms of revenge stories I've read back to back the work of master Mangaka, Kentarou Miura, creator of the legendary tale of Berserk. So when I saw the trailer to “The North” directed byRobert Eggers I knew immediately I was going to absolutely love this film, and that’s exactly why I needed to watch it and discuss it on the podcast

Dr Strange Makes an epic return after his supporting role in the Spider-man no way home film, to finally getting his second installment film after a 6 year wait since the first one. Dr Strange into the Multiverse of Madness, directed by Sam Raimi, and in true Raimi fashion, has to be truly the most horror influenced marvel film ever, and I loved it; especially with its very borderline rated R violence. Marvel didn’t stop there, they also wrapped up their mini series, Moon Night Starring Oscar Isaac as the lucretius Moon Knight hero, that surfers from DID. It was definitely an interesting series with a lot of potential.

If this film we are about to discuss does not receive at least a nomination for Best Picture in next year's Oscars. I will Wholeheartedly believe that the Academy does not know a great film, if it bit them on the Ass. Everything Everywhere All at Once, Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Schenert, has to be my favorite film released in the last 5 years, right alongside Parasyte. The performances by an absolutely stacked cast, in Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis, and James Hong are fantastic; heavy on the Asian representation, in what I could only call, a heart felt, fun, action packed film that made an absolutely amazing piece of art

The Batman has returned to film outside of the DCEU, in a stand alone movie, directed by Matt Reeves starring Robert Pattinson, and not Ben Affleck. To be Honest I don’t even know what’s going to happen to that version of Batman, but we are here with this one. It’s basically a turn to “true crime” version of The Batman, where we watch a more detective heavy problem solver, who is younger and not the “Force to be reckoned with” he becomes later in his years. The Black Rooms crew Unite to discuss this very different take on the big screen of the Dark Knight, and we have to say we weren’t disappointed

Wow! Just What Happened at the Oscars?

I love this Biopic so much, and it created such an emotional impact for me, as someone who wishes to be heavily involved with the development of children if I ever have any for myself. To Watch King Richard directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, and to see the impact of a father on his girls, and what success that had led to and to see the emotional drive, and effort it takes to put your kids in the right direction, even when everyone else is against your methods.

Oscars are very soon! Actually if you are listening to this they might have already happened.
