The Black Sensei Show cant be what it is and not pay homage to the loss of a cultural great in Chadwick Boseman. What the movie Black Panther and Boseman did to shift the cultural narrative around African stereotypes and putting Africa, although fictional in a different spotlight worldwide. The cast and writers of Black Panther put together a masterpiece that will be appreciated for generations to come. From the African hosts of the Black Sensei show we thank you Mr. Boseman for what you were able to do during your time on the screen and in life. Growing up in the 90's and 2000's we saw a lot of originality when it came to movie and Tv shows. As we have gotten older Hollywood has tried to remake many of our childhood favorites only to disappoint and enrage true Day 1 fans.  We also run down some of the more prominent and sometimes corny black characters and heroes in TV and comics and also discuss the possible racism behind a lovable Dragonball character. So as the sign says remove your shoes, hope you have on clean socks or got your toes done because its time to step in to the Dojo.

Remember back in the day when you would get hit in school and you were told " Be the bigger person because violence is not the way."  or " An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." Our society always tell the victim that violence is not a solution after violence has already been done to them. This week in the Dojo we look at scenarios in which you might have to sometimes use violence to solve the issue at hand. This week we take it back to a simpler time in technology with the good ole VHS tapes. But we are not talking about any old VHS tapes we are talking about the classic Disney VHS that we all probably messed up from rewinding so much to watch millions of time. We break down our favorite movies, give our personal Disney princess/female character Top 3 and serenade your ear drums with some sweet tunes from the past that are sure to put a little childish grin on your face. We have all had our moments where we think that our shit don't stink or that we know to much and in most cases this is our ego getting the best of us.This week in the dojo we discuss the human ego and its effects on us and our daily lives. We dive into examples of the male and female ego while projecting or inner "Call her Daddy" alter egos. Reality, Power, Time, Mind, Space and Soul. In the 10 years of Marvel greatness we watched as superheros and villains alike battled over these six powerful stones. In the real world we dont have superheros but the villain part could be up for debate, but what we undoubtedly do have is an object that can wield the power of all the six stones and that object is Money. This week in the Dojo we discuss how money is the real world infinity gauntlet and allows its user to harness the power of the six stones.

When strangers come together in a community to fight a common threat it is a beautiful thing to witness and be apart of. especially when that common threat is a legendary gym boss Pokemon. This is what Pokemon Go was able to do, it brought people of all walks of life together to fight for the singular purpose of becoming a Pokemon Master.We talk about our past memories both good and bad in our quest to be the very best.  Also this episode dive into a arguably one of the greatest television programs in history in Cartoon Networks Toonami. For anime and cartoon fans it was a after school paradise where for 2-3 hours all your favorite shows were in one place for your enjoyment. We are back in the Dojo for part two of our Game of Thrones breakdown with a special guest, to discuss the final four seasons in the fight for the Iron throne. From justifiable child murder in season five to the rather anti-climatic series finale battle against possibly the most hyped up army in television history in the terribly lit presentation of The Battle of Winterfell. To wrap up our Game of Thrones round-table we list our top four power rankings of characters dead or alive and our final thoughts on the Game of Thrones as a whole.
