  • The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 03/06/21
    Saturday, March 6th 9:00PM Eastern/ 6:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy hosts The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

2 months removed from the treasonous siege of the Capitol building, Congressional hearings into the assault were paused because of threats that more of the extremists planned to bomb the Capitol. Covid-19 rates continue dropping in the U.S., so much so that some states have repealed restrictions and pushing to return business operations to normal. Further south in Brazil, the rates continue to surge, prompting a severe lockdown in the South American country. This week marked 30 years to the date of Rodney King being beaten by the LAPD. After three decades, little has changed.

  • The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 03/05/21
    Friday, March 5th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. We thankfully escaped Black History Month and the pretend events designated to satisfy or celebrate black employees. We can get back to the business of remaining employed, securing raises and/or promotions, and staying safe in the midst of the pandemic. Along with the month of February, some states also tossed all rona-related regulations and informed businesses that they could open at full capacity without masks. Although this is not a nationwide mandate, many employees may encounter work environments with lax policies or co-workers no longer willing to commit to social distancing. We'll discuss the best strategies for minimizing risk. We'll also hear updates from listeners who've received the 2nd shot of the vaccine to maintain their safety.

  • BTR News: Grammys, Mammies & Minstrels w/ Kwabena Rasuli
On this episode of BTR News, Kwabena Rasuli of Clear The Airwaves discusses the upcoming events surrounding the Grammys which is considered the foremost award ceremony in the Recording Industry. If you are awarded a grammy, you are considered to be the best artist among your peers. The problem is, the Grammys is a white-dominated organization and while it has long "included" non-white people, specifically Black people in the music business, the industry continues to support, promote and reward music that is harmful to black people in general and black women and girls specifically.

  • Abolition Today: LIVE FROM THE PLANTATION E25
“No right was deemed by the fathers of the Government more sacred than the right of speech. It was in their eyes, as in the eyes of all thoughtful men, the great moral renovator of society and government. Daniel Webster called it a homebred right, a fireside privilege. Liberty is meaningless where the right to utter one’s thoughts and opinions has ceased to exist. That, of all rights, is the dread of tyrants. It is the right which they, first of all, strike down. They know its power. Thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers, founded in injustice and wrong, are sure to tremble if men are allowed to reason of righteousness, temperance, and of a judgment to come in their presence. Slavery cannot tolerate free speech. Five years of its exercise would banish the auction block and break every chain in the South. They will have none of it there, for they have the power. But shall it be so here?”

  • The C.O.W.S. Last Man Standing: The Tragedy and Triumph of Geronimo Pratt Part 1
    Thursday, February 25th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the debut study session on Jack Olsen's Last Man Standing: The Tragedy and Triumph of Geronimo Pratt. Last week we completed our study of the O.J. Simpson criminal trial. Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. was a central figure to that case and he'll be front and center in this investigation as well. In fact, the Los Angeles Police Department and district attorney's office will also be familiar characters. Pratt was a Vietnam veteran who returned to join The Black Panther Party. He became a vital member of his California chapter which made him a priority target for the FBI's COINTELPRO program. We'll learn a lot about what it takes for Whites to cage an innocent black male for half his life.
