Video footage released Tuesday by Elizabeth City, N.C., shows sheriff's deputies arriving at the home of Andrew Brown Jr., just before he was fatally shot last week. 

The footage obtained by WAVY-TV was taken from what appeared to be a street camera in a residential neighborhood. A Pasquotank County Sheriff's vehicle is seen carrying several deputies dressed in tactical gear before turning a corner and then pulling into a driveway.

The footage then pauses for several seconds before picking up. The deputies get out and indistinguishable shouting is heard.

According to local reports, a 7-year-old girl is dead and her 29-year-old father hospitalized after they were shot in a McDonald's drive-thru on Chicago's West Side, 

7 year old Jaslyn was rushed to the hospital after she was found in a bullet-ridden car sitting in a McDonald's drive-thru. Unfortunately, the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said that the shot girl was a “female with a knife trying to stab” another person when shot. They haven’t formally named her. The body cam video shows the officer arriving to a chaotic fight scene, with Bryant attacking another female, who falls on the ground, before she moves toward a second woman near a car, police say with a knife. The officer then shoots her dead.
