On this episode Xay Dé and Mikey talk about substance abuse! Sucha festive topic for the holidays! … But during the holidays is actually when folks strongly consider using substances to relieve themselves of holiday stress, and sometimes things take a turn. These two talk about how they enjoy substances responsibly, the impact of “The War on Drugs” and how Black people are STILL being targeted for the use and possession of drugs. (They do end on a holiday song, so it’s not all gloom and doom this season!)

On this episode Xay Dé talks about hate groups, and tries to break down why they could possibly hate other folks based upon their sex, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. She attempts to rationalize how TERFs like JK Rowling process their dislike for trans people, or how White Nationalists see themselves as superior in comparison to people of color, and how the Patriarch has diminished women/femmes down to mere objects. It’s all very interesting, and yet it doesn’t make sense in her mind.

On this episode Xay Dé conducts an interview with a Black, Cisgender, Bisexual Man - Mark, the Black Knight. They discuss the ideologies of Black Manhood and how a man could possibly be attracted to a woman of trans experience. In addition to that, He Discusses How His Upbringing In The A Religious Household Impacted His Attraction. He Explains How & Why He Searched Space For Trans Attracted Men, But It Wasn’t Always Comfortable. Xay Dé sheds light on why obtaining a relationship with a Black, Trans woman can be complicated. These conversations are crucial because it helps to normalize transgender relationships and allows other trans amorous/attracted men to hear content about how they are feeling.

On this episode Xay Dé is flying solo to finally discuss the Dave Chappelle Netflix special “The Closer.” She talks about the way the Black Community as a collective seems to misunderstand the LGBTQAI+ community- specifically the Trans community. The struggles are connected, but they may refuse to see it, as there may be prejudice and misinformation. As someone who sits directly in the middle of the two communities, Xay Dé gets a very unique perspective of the ENTIRE situation!
