A New convention is coming in 2018 and its for EVERYBODY! Alterna Comics has seen the future of the industry and it's NEWSPRINT? Rogue One is a winner, Calvin & Hobbes is a big beautiful brick and GUTTER TALK is back, baby!

Vince is off buying a home but the Mission continues with comedian Darryl Charles and his special selection to kick off LISTENER MOVIE MONTH - 2009's blaxploitation parody superb BLACK DYNAMITE, starring Michael Jai White, Salli Richardson, Tommy Davidson, Byron Minns, Kym Whitley and a host of cameos, quotes and mind numbing kung fu hilarity.

It's the 50th stop on the Micheaux Mission so Vince and Len make it a big one, with a review of one of the seminal films of black cinema in the last 30 years - Robert Townsend's THE FIVE HEARTBEATS (1991). First they chat about songs that could/should be movies, read listener feedback and share the world's greatest iTunes review with one another.

The World's Finest Tribbles - Supes and Bats - are joined by Philly socialite and mixologist SUMMER WILLOW FITCH in a tuneful stroll down the months of 2016 in remembrance of the dearly departed we lost along the way, including David Bowie, Muhammad Ali, Maurice White, Prince, Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds and a memorable sendoff for Alan Thicke.

The Tribbles review 2016 from a spacey, geeky and mostly optimistic POV especially when they celebrate the pending debut of the Harriet Tubman 20-dollar bill with wild speculations of currency yet to come.

In a Micheaux Mission/Binge Lounge special presentation, Vince and Len ponder the many issues pumping through HOLIDAY HEART - starring Ving Rhames, Mykelti Williamson, directed by Robert Townsend and featuring someone purportedly to be Alfre Woodard. Plus - what never happened?
