Tribe, we are excited to kick off Season 2 with our new special series entitled: "The Internal Revolution of Black Love."

In this series, that will run throughout the season, Shara, Shekina, and Jessica will unpack what Black Love is in this generation, and ways to strengthen it starting with SELF. 

These three ladies hope that these episodes will serve as a healing space as well as as space for reflection for everyone single, dating, courting, engaged, or married. 

These Black Love episodes will be uploaded every 2nd Sunday of every month throughout Season 2!

In this SEASON FINALE, Shara and Shekina invites their very first male voice, Shareef Valentine, to the Tribe meeting to have an open and raw discussion of what the trending phrase "Protect the Black Woman" means. This trio talks about it all-from child support, to redlining, to community accountability.

Shara and Shekina wanted to quickly hop on to encourage you to take good care of yourselves between today and tomorrow. If you have not voted yet, make your voices heard and vote! This is the most important election of our lives. If you are voting tomorrow, be safe, be prepared for long lines, keep your eyes open, and know what you need  to bring according to your state. Be sure to vote down ballot and do your research before you go the voting booth so that you can know how you want to vote.

Shara and Shekina was joined by Jill Sturge who is a Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor. Tribe, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this is an opportunity to get a full understanding of how Brest Cancer affects people in our communities. Tune in as Jill shares her personal testimony of how she beat Breast Cancer.

In this second part of the series we are joined by Shannon Reaves, Executive Director of Jobs with Justice Atlanta. Shannon has spent the past 15 years of her life organizing workers and has a longstanding commitment to fighting for social and economic justice. Shannon has an impeccable track record of winning fights for workers; such a increasing the minimum wage in Georgia-- a fight that is still a priority as Shannon and her counterparts fight for a $15 minimum wage for both public and private workers. The passion that Shannon has to the work is rooted in her own self-reflection and evolution which has nurtured her strong and inspiring beliefs.
