Colleen du Pon is a transplanted Canadian now living in Bridport, West Dorset, England. Working as an Artist Blacksmith and Metal Sculptor, she loves the romantic, physical and elemental processes in blacksmithing and produces a wide range of work, from functional Homewares to Sculpture and Architectural work, blending forging by hand, hammer and anvil, with contemporary metalworking techniques to create works in mild steel.  Colleen’s fascination for aesthetics, the beauty of nature, flora and fauna, are reflected in her diverse range of work

Corrina Sephora Mensoff is an accomplished artist and blacksmith.  She talks about her “12 Business Strategies” that she has found essential in creating her success as an artist.  Hear about how she held a private art show at one of her collector’s mansions and sold a $13,000 sculpture to an attendee!

Known to call most of her girlfriends “Sister Woman”…I was lucky enough to have an in depth interview (at happy hour) with Payne Anne Chassen in my shop and she agreed to be on camera with me!  Payne is has been a trained welder since 2004, she lives and welds in the “Yupper” upper peninsula of Michigan.  Once she started working with metal she went right into making functional sculptures and art.  In this episode we talk about the Facebook group Angels and Anvils and why she started the group.
