This episode we dove into some recent stories in the world of hip hop including Tory Lanez's beef with the immensely more talented (and more intimidating) Royce Da 5'9, Kodak Black's interview with Ebro, the #MeToo movement's inevitable clash with hip hop, & Ty Dolla $ign's arrest. We dove deeper and examined why artists should have to answer for serious accusations instead of shying from them, how to handle enjoying music from an artist whose behavior you don't support, misogyny across every music genre, how famous people need to watch out for themselves, & more!

This episode we dove into some recent stories in the world of hip hop including Kanye's Twitter storm aimed at Drake, Offset's awkward attempt to get Cardi back at Rolling Loud, and Jacquees' claim of being the "King of R&B." We elaborated on those topics to discuss fans enabling Kanye's behavior, how people view cheating in relationships, and how the "King of R&B" debate ignores the fact that women run the genre.

In wake multiple events of various levels of seriousness that all tie into it, we decided to talk all about white privilege (yes, it exists) this episode. From Laura Loomer's temper tantrum at Twitter HQ, to the lady who named her kid 'Abcde' and cried on social media when she was mocked, to Americans who supposedly care about people and follow religions that dictate to do so being OK with the tear gassing of children at the border, we tackled it all. We pivoted off that topic to dive into the horrifying history of this supposedly great country and examined whether or not the atrocities at the border represent the REAL America.

We also touched on where the line for free speech should be drawn as far as dictating what is hate speech, social media platforms aiding in the battle against the extremists on the right, the irony of Americans fearing there are "terrorists and criminals" in the caravan when most terror acts in the US are committed by domestic white terrorists, and more!

In Episode 36, we discuss Eminem's extremely uncomfortable, and flat out terrible, 14 minute freestyle and once again revisit the topic of artists aging gracefully. We also talked about the incident at Pusha T's Toronto show and how it factors in to the beef between him and Drake. Finally, we discussed Adam Levine's comments in Variety about Hip Hop being where the most progression in music is at!

This episode, we talked about some of the biggest sports stories from the last week and dove deeper into them. We discussed the Kareem Hunt video and analyzed the public reaction compared to how bad the actual act was while looking at why we as a culture refuse to look at cases like this on an individual basis. We also broke down the College Football Playoff teams and discussed if the committee got it right, why Notre Dame gets a pass, and if the field should be expanded. Finally, we looked at the Heisman race and reflected on Dwayne Haskins becoming the best Quarterback Ohio State has ever seen. Along the way we discussed the lack of unbiased journalism in today's media, the joke that is Jim Harbaugh's lackluster coaching career, Jalen Hurtz's awesome comeback, and more!

In this episode, I got a bit personal as we piggy backed off of some of the topics Charlamagne Tha God brings up in his incredible new book (and best seller) "Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me" and discussed anxiety as a whole in many ways we hope will help people dealing with their own issues. I saw it as important to put my own struggles out there as we talked the stigma of therapy, anxiety that comes with having to be "masculine," social media's role, coping mechanisms, and MUCH more.

As always, we sidetracked and discussed 6ixnine's arrest, "Toy Story 4," "Detective Pikachu," and the lack of Asian representation for historically Asian franchises too.

We talked about some recent events in this sports world including the Jimmy Butler trade to the 76ers and if that shifts the balance of power in the NBA at all, the drama surrounding the Warriors and if it will lead to their eventual break up, the freak that is Zion Williamson, and the living embodiment of a scumbag that is Brett McMurphy.
